have you called your midwife?

hvae you been diagnosed with polyhydramnios?

your waters might be leaking, and earlier labour can happen with polydramnios. please give labour ward a ring

seen a registrar. they didn't make a diagnosis of polyhydramnios as far as i can understand. they didn't seem massively concerned other than more checks in 2 weeks but i have ready all sorts of information on the internet which worried me.

they've also done an internal examination for this discharge so am waiting to hear. any similar experiences, gratefully received.
on scan everything else looks normal

ok, do you think it is a discharge rather than amniotic fluid that is leaking?

increased watery discharge is heavier in later pregnancy.

if you are at all concerned, then you should call labour ward

I had polyhydramnios from about 28 weeks, which was monitored with weekly scans and caused absolutely no problems. My AF level went up to 28 at one point. I wasn't allowed to deliver in the birthing centre as there's a risk of cord prolapse with polyhydramnios, but everything was fine. Just keep in touch with your midwife and call her if you are at all worried.
