Anyone else having weird scary dreams and then lying awake for hours?

I've only just found out I'm pregnant so must be about 4 weeks and the last three nights I've had horrible dreams about accidents and things happening to DS. Just bought a new lawnmower and kept dreaming I was going to mow through the cable and the live end of the cable would flap around and chase DS around the garden trying to electrocute him!!

I don't remember having these when I was pregnant with DS. Its quite disconcerting! And I'm knackered now from lying awake half the night!!

Yes I have dreams like that too. They are very scary and seem very real even after I have woken up.

I've had tons of vivid and disturbing dreams since getting pg - being trapped in a serial killer's body, people invading our house, DP turning on me, ruining my baby's health/life/prospects...you name it.

I had very vivid dreams for the first couple of months but it wore off, no idea when but it's definitely gone now (I'm 24 weeks) and I haven't had them for a looooong time.

I had a horrible dream the other night that I was bleeding down below and also that a work clients daughter died (I don't even think he has a daughter!)

When a friend of mine was pregnant she dreamt her baby was born with all her teeth already grown and said "hello mummy" when she came out!!

I think its normal to have anxiety dreams. Not that I am a dream interpreter but maybe your dream about electrocuting DS could be about your fear of him feeling left out / neglected by having another one?? Hope this doesn't offend you and I'm not trying to imply thats what you'll do but perhaps thats a subconsicous fear? (God I sound like my mother - she's a psychotherapist, but a very wise one!)
