so when does dog nose go? Driving me insane. Am 12+1 and had severe morn sick from week 5. I had a week or so last week when i felt fine (no nausea) recently its come back. Feeling sick but food turns my stomach but i have an odd pain that doesnt really hurt sort of in my stomach which makes me not want to eat. Is this still morn sick?

Yep sounds like ms. I still have strong sense of smell but in this sense that I am craving particular smells - bad things like white spirits/paints etc unfortunately! (I'm not indulging these cravings btw!).

When I had ms, like you many smells were making me feel sick, but they don't any more. So hopefully your's will pass

Dog nose (great name for it by the way) does not go until the baby is out but it stops making you sick. When your ms goes you'll still be able to tell exactly what your DH had for lunch but it will no longer make you heave.

you're stuck with the dog nose I'm afraid; you need it to be able to pick out your baby in a crowd. I had no idea just how strong a sense it was, until when my DS was a few weeks old and my sister gave me her 9mo old baby to hold. The different smell of him was like an assault on my senses.

I started feeling better ms wise about 13 weeks, but it's gotten bad again in the last few days (am now 15 weeks)...not as bad as it was though, thankfully.

expat, how are things going?

pretty good, daisy, because this time i'm being religious about irrigating my sinuses to hopefully fend off sinusitis.

but my skin is pizza and my hair's going to be shipped off to Grangemouth for refining shortly .

my house smell makes me feel sick! I walk around the house and can smell all these things and say to dh 'what is that smell' and hes like 'there is no smell'. its hurrendous.

expat, im NOT doing it again. Only wanted 2! DH is having the snip after this one!

lol expat........it'll be the only thing grangemouth are refining at the minute

my skin and hair are looking good this time around; with DD I had acne until about 20 weeks, and ouch those nasty sinuses!

there's a point though mad4......the dog nose might go a little when your sinuses get horribly bunged up!

we have some old lino underneath the cushion floor in the kitchen, and I can smell that....it's horrible. DH can't smell it at all and thinks I'm going mad.

I'm over 14 weeks. Had hyperemesis until about 2 weeks ago. In the doctor's for imjections to stop me throwing up a few times. Just managed to stay hydrated enough to stay out of hospital. Still have awful nausea, especially in the evenings but anything is better than the constant throwing up. This is our second and we have decided it will be our last too. I just couldn't face the sickness again.

i got acne few months after having ds 2 years ago. tried EVERYTHING inc 2 dermatologists. It not too bad at the moment. Well its been worse put it that way. Found a great foundation specifically for acne which i think has helped. Maybe having this one will cure my acne forever!! I can hope..
