Hello, I am due 1st June and really need to start thinking about renting a TENS machine. Any advice / suggestions on where to go online and what machine to get? Thanks, O

I rented mine from the maternity unit at the hospital.

I can't recommend them highly enough!

Good Luck

i rented mine from Lloyds pharmacy - no problems encountered and i found the TEN's really useful in labour. Hope all goes well.

Make sure you get one with a boost button. They don't all have one.

I got mine from Boots both times. First time didn't use it much, second time it was a godsend as was very quick and he arrived at home, so had nothing else.

Good Luck!!

Just put in TENS machine hire into Google. Got an ELLE one, was very good, with a booster button and a large lower back strap plus they sent some practice electrodes.

I hired mine from my hospital for around £10.00. very easy to use and just return it when your done with it. Will be doing the same again this time around.

I had it on as soon as contractions started until about half an hour before pushing, didn't need anything else....but never know if it was TENS or my high pain threshold to this day.....nah I i'm pretty sure the TENS helped alooottt! Good luck

I hired mine from natures gate. Very good service and I must say the TENS got me through this labour with no other pain relief, so well worth it IMO.

I got one for Ds, then I got induced because he was so late and the nurse wouldn't let me use it in case the contractions went off.
I don't know whether to get one for new bump when the time comes or not???
