Should I go to hospital ?

I've fainted this morning
I stayed off work anyway as if let abit under the weather. I have really bad headaches and feel drowsy. I'm 26 weeks pregnant however I've looked on,one and it says it's normal to feel faint during pregnancy?

Also my partner has the car and is working away would I just get a taxi and turn up there? Baby is moving fine so If u were to go I think it would be more of a visit required to a&e rather than maternity?

Did you hit your bump or injure yourself when it happened? I'm sure that baby moving normally is a good sign but always best to get checked if you're concerned, better safe than sorry. I suffered very low blood pressure from about 18wks and this caused me dizzy spells and fainting fits. I got checked at the hospital the first time it happened and just kept in touch with the midwife via phone afterwards, they were very understanding. I was actually signed off work for a couple of weeks and found that resting as much as possible helped though I appreciate not everyone can do that.
I'm now 36+4 and no longer getting any of those symptoms. Take care

I'd say in the first instance rather than go to A&E, maybe give your midwife a call and get some advice over the phone? It may well just be that your blood pressure is a bit low and combined with being a bit under the weather and pregnancy was what caused you to faint. It is unfortunately reasonably common in pregnancy.

I would give the midwife a call. I fainted when about 15 weeks and spoke to midwife and she recommended that got an emergency appointment with my gp to get checked out.

I would call the GP surgery and see if you could speak to your doctor for advice. Or, does your hospital maternity unit have an emergency number you can ring? Getting yourself to a&e sounds like it might be quite stressful, so I'd say try to get phone advice first. It's fairly common to feel faint in pregnancy, but your GP can probably get to the root cause.

Call your mW. Could be blood pressure or anemea, they can test for those easily.

Good to hear baby sounds OK though. :)
