with my last pregnancy I had trouble sleeping during the 1st trimester and then had a lovely period of sleeping well till around 20 weeks (when i felt most tired) and then it came back till dd was born. Once dd was born and we got into a routine I think I got more sleep than I did when I was pregnant. I did find naps helped but as I worked full time and only had 4 days of mat leave before she arrived that didn't happen much.

Yep naps would help but on work days that's not happening (except for one day I swear I fell asleep on the toilet for 5 minutes! Blush)and on home days it's even less likely.
Always wide awake and totally unable to sleep at this time though Angry
Hopefully it passes!!

I had trouble sleeping in the 1st trimester but was easily managed by a bowl of cereal in the middle of the night. The 2nd trimester was fine and I slept like a baby. The 3rd trimester, however, has been all out insomnia for me. Work has been really difficult (I can empathise with napping on the loo!!) 5 weeks till mat leave starts.... Bring on the day time naps!!!

I'm almost 7 weeks and the first couple of weeks I slept like a baby (no pun intended) but the last few nights I've not been able to switch my brain off. I'm going to start doing pregnancy yoga before bed, there's some videos on YouTube so I'll let you know if it works!
