Am almost 29 weeks pregnant with DC2 and feel SOOOOOOOOOOO tired I could die. No energy, get out of breathe getting out of sofa, takes me twice as long to walk the 15minutes from the tube to my office.... Feel like I did in those early weeks where it felt like I'd been knocked over by a bus.

Midwife checking my iron levels etc, but is this normal? A second round of tiredness???

I felt like that because I was anaemic. Felt loads better after I got my iron levels up.

I got this... nothing wrong with me, they just reckon as the baby gets big and your blood is stretched to the limit, it just hits some women harder than others.
Get your iron levels checked, if not just find any excuse to snooze!

Iron levels fine here and shattered. I could nap every single afternoon. 34 weeks. I do have a busy job and a mental toddler.

I had this about the start of the third trimester - it seemed to come and go a bit more than it did in the first - occasional days of exhaustion, mixed in with less tired days, rather than laid out for weeks on end as in the first trimester. I think it's just your body struggling to keep up with the increased demands that the baby is putting on it. Still, it's a good time to start taking things a bit easier, listening to your body and doing what you can when you feel up to it.

I feel like this at 26 weeks and I've had my bloods checked and nothing is wrong. I keep insisting it's not normal to fall asleep standing up at the park or for my arms to shake...! I've read it can be related to a magnesium/potassium shortage so I am giving some vitamins a try.
It's horrible and annoying. I have a demanding job and a 3yo, I need to be awake in the day!

29 weeks here too and been feeling exactly the same, although it turns out I'm slightly anaemic. One thing I've found that helps is doing some light exercise. It's so hard to find the motivation to do it but it's really helped me- I made DH wait for me to get home from work to take the dog for a walk and I've felt so much better for it today. Problem is, the sofa looks so inviting after a day in work....

I'm 36 weeks now and since about 30 weeks I've been knackered again! I'm not anaemic either.

Luckily DS still sleeps for a few hours in the afternoon so I have a nap too!

I'm at the same stage (29 wks tomorrow) and I'm finding myself ridiculously tired. Am going to bed 9.30 and sleeping for about 8-9 hours.

Hopefully won't be as bad after this week as I'm taking the last of my Annual Leave by coming in 45 minutes later to work every morning. It'll only be a bit more time at home but hopefully the not having to rush round as much will help.
