travel sickness in 2nd trimester

In first trimester (around 4-6weeks) I did some train/bus journeys. And paticularly on the longer train journeys I got really travel sick.

I'm now 22 weeks and am meant to be going away for the weekend, about a 2.5hour train ride. Now I'm freaking out worrying that I'll be horribly ill again.

anyone got experience of travel sickness sticking around for the whole pregnancy???

Are you still suffering from morning sickness? Do you have travel sickness when not pregnant?

Hopefully both of these are no and you will be ok! Just take lots of water or things that help with nausea with you and don't sit backwards on the train.

I still get travel sickness and am 25 weeks now, but I normally struggle with it when not pregnant and morning sickness is still lurking for me so I think it is linked.

I'm in the same situation as barmy, in the 2nd trimester but still getting sickness-particularly when travelling. I always have a bottle of water with me and I find eating really helps. I can't read anything and if it's really bad I just try and close my eyes for a bit and have a snooze!

Ice cold water, crack open a window, shut your eyes and take deep breaths! That's what gets me through.

I also still wear those sickness bands - not sure whether or not they help or it's just psychological but I refuse to take them off!
