As above basically! Now I'm not exactly over weight but I've always been curvy so have bum, boobs, hips and never had a wash board stomach but I'm a bit disappointed and feeling crap as my stomach just looks like I've piled a load of weight on. I haven't really put much on if any so far (I know I'm lucky, and it's early days!) should I have a bump forming yet? All that I have got is a slight bulge that looks like I'm bloated and over eaten which isn't solid but is flabby Hmm

You will have a bump soon, my sister left work on the Friday with no one suspecting anything, she was 22 weeks and when she walked in on the Monday even the blokes went "holy shit, your pregnant".

I just looked like I ate too many pies until I popped at 23 weeks. It'll happen one days you'll way up and there will be a baby bump. It's different for everyone xx

Oh it'll come! I can't remember when mine did but I remeber I still didn't look pregnant at 20 weeks unless I was trying very hard (wearing a fitted top and sticking my stomach out!) I was a bit put out at about 22 weeks when I told someone I was pregnant, due in December (thought I clearly looked pregnant at that stage) for her to say 'Really?? You don't look it!'

At 32 weeks people still say I'm small, but there is a definite bump there. If its your first then I think it does take a while.

I'm currently 18weeks+3 with my first baby and there is no hiding my bump sprouted about 2 weeks ago. Prior to the obvious 'baby bump' I had the kind of bump that elicits the question: "Has she put on some weight?" Smile

I was quite slim prior to pregnancy though so my midwife said my bump would become more obvious earlier than others might.

I love my bump but I hate it that my clothes don't fit anymore Hmm

It'll come! I was the same with no one guessing until I hit 23 weeks. Now I'm 26 weeks it's quite obvious and starting to get in the way.

I'm nearly 35 weeks and have my own gravitational field. I fantasise about having no bump!

I think the second trimester is a really strange time for bumps. They come and go and change shape every day or every hour. Just wait till you get to week 25-30. It will definitely be there. And then you'll wish it would go away because you won't be able to sleep!

Mine seems to have sprouted in the last few days so from exactly 16 weeks. It's only noticeable to people looking for it at the moment, am sure it's only going to get bigger now!

I was 22 weeks before I had the tiniest of bumps. I was desperate to show by then!

I think I got a bump about 22 weeks but I've never been really big until now - 39 weeks!

I now long for the days where my back doesn't feel like its breaking lol

I agree with blurry, enjoy looking compact while you can! I'm 16wks and already getting the 'how long left' and, 'are you sure it's not twins?' comments...

Im still at the 'look like ive put on a bit of weight' stage. Im 16+5. This is my second and i didnt show until about 6month so its perfectly normal. I had a tiny bump last time all the way to the end. Dont worry, its normal.

If it's ur first it seems to take forever, it wasn't obvious until I was 6 months gone with my first but this time around by 6 weeks me and hubby both noticed a difference in my belly, I have shown so much sooner with this one and was considerably bigger by 20 weeks than with my son but as time has progressed I seem to have levelled out and am measuring perfectly at appointments which I never did last time. Ur bump will come, don't worry, there's def no hiding mine now 39+2 weeks today!!!

When does your bump firm up iykwim? Spoke to my mum yesterday and she said in the third trimester your bump really changes. Hopefully I won't pile a load of weight on then if it's taking its time Smile

My bump is generally quite soft at the moment but if I've had a very active day or been on my feet a lot it goes really firm - to the point where it can feel a little bit uncomfortable Hmm

Funny you should say that writer, had a really busy and active day at work yesterday and last night my 'bump' was hard all evening Blush

My tummy popped at 22 weeks- literally went overnight from having bloating to a definite bump!

It's my first one and I was very active & sporty, the consultant said that probably contributed to everything being 'held in' for so long. If I have more kids in future I'm sure the bump will make a much earlier appearance!

I guess I'm only half way though so still lots of growing to do Smile

Same here writer I'm still in my pjs! And dh is off out tonight so a lovely chill out!

mine popped overnight at 23 weeks. I spent so long wishing for a bump and then I got one. Now I am nearly 33 weeks and long for the days when I could reach my feet and don't need a crane to get off the sofa.

When I was pregnant it took ages to, probably about 24 weeks. I went on a fortnights holiday with my second and nobody even guessed, when I came back I was huge. It will happen soon enough, you obviously have good tummy muscles.

It might not pop Hmm maybe you carry in your back????
