I'm expecting baby number three, and I'm treating myself to a haircut!

What do you treat yourself to? And how often? (Especially expectant ladies who already have little ones!Grin)

I didn't treat myself to anything just extra Shifts at work but now I wish I brought something really nice for the bath to relax in

Interesting, am also expecting Dc3 and haven't really treated myself to anything, so will welcome some extravagant ideas!

I used to spend time relaxing having baths, getting my hair and nails done :)
Reading! Lots of reading
My biggest treat to myself was sleep :)
But now my biggest and best treat is cuddles from my baby dd

The week dd was due I got a manicure and a pedicure. In the weeks that followed when I was lying in hospital post-section or covered in poo and sick (dd's, not mine!) I could look at my hands or feet and not feel like a total disaster. The rest of my body was a different story.

I wish I could afford regular pregnancy massages, but a warm deep bath helps the weariness too.

Am 24 +3 with second baby and need a treat! Signed up for Pilate's next WK which should be nice. keen to try Lush spa treatment too as have heard they are amazing. Not sure if they do a pregnancy massage though. I buy Neal's Yard lavender bath salts for all preggo or new mum pals but have none myself Hmm

I waddled to the hairdressers at 40+1 pg with DC2, my hair looked lovely in the photos 2 days later Grin

I also seem to remember sending DS to his childminder for a couple of mornings, even tho I'd finished work, just so I could have a little snooze.

Cake. Lots of cake. And since I've been on mat leave I've watched tv & read, read, read.

I'm treating myself to a haircut and highlights = 3 hrs of relaxing, drinking hot tea & reading trashy magazines. I am also planning on getting decent feeding bra's this time.

Bath time without my DS is a lovely treat and toward the end (currently 21 weeks) i will probably have a glass of wine or two over christmas and new year.

I haven't actually treated myself, but I was bought the sanctuary mum to be gift box and it's lovely. It has a body butter, stretch mark oil, bath bubbles, cooling foot and leg gel and a shower poof thing. It all smells beautiful, not too heavily scented, but just right. It's made the luke warm baths you are allowed when pregnant much nicer.

Lots of chocolate! Less walking with the buggy and more buses/taxis, just because. Nice bras.

Due in a month with DC2, finish work next Tuesday but planning that DS will continue going to childminder 1 & 1/2 days a week. I am going to book a cut & colour, a pedicure & pregnancy massage for the next few weeks, must try not to spend a fortune before bump arrives!

I've had some lovely mani + pedis and treated myself to mama mio products and lush bath products. I'd always used lush but since entering the third trimester I've made time to sit in the bath.

I now also leisurely sip my soya chai tea latte with a magazine as opposed to gulping it en route somewhere. Sad as this sounds and believe me this will sound utterly pathetic: promise I have a brain! My biggest indulgence was a new, tv fitted onto a bracket so that I can watch it in bed. It's amazing.

A car Blush

I was driving a Peugeot 107 which I loved but it only had 3 doors and the worlds smallest boot (hardly fitted the weekly shop for 2 it was so small). Not at all practical for a baby. So I sold it and bought myself a gorgeous 5 door megane with a boot so big I could live in it comfortably, only picked it up 3 hours ago :)

I was going to get a new car sooner rather than later anyway, baby has just been the excuse to do it

So far, booking a doula. Which is really mental health self-care for me because I can ask her questions whereas it's really hard to contact midwives in my area.

Also some maternity trousers and a couple of tops, yet to arrive :)
