I want a bump!!

I am fed up now. I'm only 17+5 so I know I have plenty of time to get massive and I am just being silly but I want a bump.

I am sick of being fat and wobbly.

Is it going to appear soon?

everybody is different so bumps appear at different times!

seriously dont wish for a bump too soon - it gives you backache!

I felt the same! Just felt fat and wobbly for what felt like months. Even when my bump was starting to appear, I proudly showed my sister and she poked it and said 'still too soft'.

I am 21+3 now and def have a bump, but I am short, so there is not much room inside for it to grow, it can only grow out.

How tall are you?

just under 5ft Blush

fairy I have backache now, at least I would look pregnant if I had a bump haha.

I completely sympathise, I'm 20+5 and I still don't feel like I have a bump, DH has been reassuring me I do and I've been periodically taking photos to compare and I can tell there's growth but feeling a bit wobbly really. Met a new neighbour while bringing in the laundry the other night and mentioned I'm pregnant to which she said "you don't look very far along..." I just thought, why thank you I generally just carry around extra weight Grin

don't worry, you'll get one soon and it may well hang about long after your baby is born :o

I just keep looking down at the wobbly belly and sighing sadly. I just look obese and people stare at me Sad

If you are anything like me, it will appear all of a sudden! I just looked flabby for ages, then suddenly I exploded at about 22 weeks. Now at 27 weeks people are telling me I look like I'm near my due date. I had a lady tell me that I am bigger than her daughter was at the end of her pregnancy the other day! She was genuinely shocked when I told her that I'm not even 7 months yet.

I wished and wished for my bump, and now in the heat I'm wishing I wasn't so massive because it's bloody awful!

It's an odd feeling wanting a bump. I just look wide and can still hide my belly at 16 Wks. I think my baby is still very low down xxx

I can sympathise, 17 weeks and just look fat! If I wear tighter clothes (like a stretchy vest top) I find that it looks more bump like and slightly less like I've just gone to town on the ice cream!

I'm just shy of 34w and still in normal clothes... It's tough when you don't look the part, eh?

In this heat?! I'll swap you mine Wink Seriously though, you'll have a beautiful bump in a few weeks - I remember feeling so podgy and just wanting people not to be left guessing if I'd been eating too much ice cream or was actually pregnant! xx

No two women are the same so I wouldn't panic just yet! The smaller one might catch up then they both continue at the same rate. However, if you are going to bf, don't ever just feed with one boon and let the other one dry up. My friend did that because one was a bit painful and she ended up looking like a one tit wonder! One was about three cup sizes bigger than the other and was v v noticeable!

Be careful what you wish for! I used to look in the mirror each morning to see if I had a bump yet. Four years later (with DC2 aged 12mths), I sigh most mornings as I see that I still have a bump!

Yay! That's what happened to me then I ballooned. Now I have my own gravitational force. Sometimes dh walks round in circles around me and tells me he is orbiting me. Hmm Grin
