Feeling so low today

Am 40+4. Have been having twinges/pains since around 38wks, sweep on Tuesday morning resulting in loss of plug yesterday lunchtime. The last 2 nights I've had such a pressure down below that I've been sure my waters would go in the night. Have woken up this morning to absolutely nothing.

I'm so fed up of being pregnant now - I am so ready to be a mum, all I want is my baby here so I can get on with my life, I feel like I'm trapped in my own home at the moment and can't go far incase things start (family are 80 miles away). I'm fed up of the constant messages/phone calls/MIL "popping in to see how you are" because no matter how many times we tell them we will let them all know when things start, they still just have to check. I'm fed up of only having 2 things that actually fit me now and constantly being on edge.

Please reassure me I'm not alone in my miserable state (or give me a slap and tell me to snap out of it).

I decided to do a bit of house work, and found a bag of cinema sweeties my hubby bought me last night when he was at the cinema, all my favs, he is a honey.

I then went slightly nuts and have done SO much cleaning, downstairs is literally sparking, and I finally scrubbed the pram.

Heading upstairs to vacuum now, I am feeling more positive as last time I had a baby 12 hours after my appointment, so maybe at 10pm tomorrow I will have a LO

My due date is today and baby is not engaged and I've had no signs of labour whatsoever! I have a sweep booked for next Friday but I really hope I go into labour before then :-(
