Smelly gush is fab, glad I'm not the only childish one lol-ling away!

anda, I think a few people have popped over only to have to return to the ttc side from around the same time? Like Bakingtins sad

Congrats bump & Santa.

Okay maybe not a link but can y'all find it? I tried to word it so newbies wouldn't be scared to get involved!

IBelieveInPink Sat 22-Jun-13 07:29:23

Right. I'm feeling positive today let me see if I can work out how to do this....

andadietcoke Sat 22-Jun-13 05:22:16

stitch thinking of you - at least they could do the cvs quickly. 50/50 odds could be a lot worse as well. Everything crossed for you for Tuesday.

ibip, bump and santa congratulations - and two more girls grin

Re the thread title, we don't have to have Laura Ashley in there wink- it doesn't mean anything to anyone who wasn't on the old thread in November time, and I don't think there's anyone left over there from that time to graduate that's still actively TTC?

LuckySocks13 Fri 21-Jun-13 20:25:06

Hi all. Sorry you are having such a worrying time Stitch. I hope Tuesday brings you the news you want.
lovely to hear positive news from the other scans today. I can't remember who found out the flavour apart from Pinks Girl. But congratulations smile
I do think that smelly gush should be in the new tittle that made me lol smile
I'm sure I felt bubba for the first time earlier! Can't be sure though!

shellsocks Fri 21-Jun-13 19:54:34

stitch really glad you mum is here, what good timing and lovely of her to stay. Hope you get the news you need to continue with the pregnancy x

jmf294 Fri 21-Jun-13 19:26:28

Stitch- really sorry to hear what you are going through. I have everything crossed for you to have good news next week. I hope it was of some comfort today to know you were in good hands.
Santa, IBIP and bump- glad to hear your news.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. We are off on a day trip to Bristol tomorrow- only 5 hours return journey. Think I will spend Sunday on the sofa recovering!!

BlackholesAndRevelations Fri 21-Jun-13 19:14:48

Aw stitch sad flowers fingers crossed so tightly for a healthy little un. There's a thread about testing on here if you feel brave enough to read it- lots of success stories. Glad you've got your mum with you. Loads of love xxx

ChocolateCremeEggBag Fri 21-Jun-13 19:09:06

Now can anyone suggest a new thread title?

Mine was awful last time, but happy to start a new one and link it if someone else will do the hard work naming it?

I guess we need to include Posifrickingtivity - Pregant after MC and Laura Ashley skirt?

ChocolateCremeEggBag Fri 21-Jun-13 19:07:07

Oh Stitch good that your mum is still with you this weekend, and hope she can change her ticket easily. Will keep fingers crossed for Tuesday.

stitchinline Fri 21-Jun-13 18:43:44

Thanks for the lovely messages everyone.

So pleased for great scan news ibip, bump and Santa. Is lovely to hear happy news.smile

Basically we had 4 measures outside normal range - each was only slightly elevated but combined to give the 1 in 2. I had it done at the FMC and they spent ages on the scan measuring and redoing it all lots of times. So it was the fluid, leakage around one side of heart and both blood proteins. It was also good to get the cvs done there and then as don't have the stress of anticipating it.

At this stage unless the cvs came back to show something that was incompatible with life we will continue with the pregnancy. I guess it's good to be prepared for what's to come.

Just have to wait til Tuesday / I guess it's lucky to have so much to do to keep my mind off things. My mum was due to go back to Australia in Tuesday but is going to try to extend until Friday which will be a great help.

GardenWorm Fri 21-Jun-13 18:35:54

Fab news Bump and Santagrin

Stich if I could lay my hands on a time travel machine....take good care of yourselves over the next few days. Everything crossed here for the Stitches xxxx

BlackholesAndRevelations Fri 21-Jun-13 18:29:46

Congrats ibip, Santa and bump! grin great news xxx

Stitch- hopefully it's just that the test didn't work and everything is ok. I sincerely hope so and have everything crossed xxx

Still haven't heard back from my nt test yet- know it's only day three since I had it so best try and be patient!!

JanieLovesLuckySocks Fri 21-Jun-13 18:29:44

sorry i meant santa. but you too stitch, i'm crossing everything possible for you for tuesday xxxxxxxxx

JanieLovesLuckySocks Fri 21-Jun-13 18:29:08

great news bump and stitch!!

Bodicea Fri 21-Jun-13 17:28:25

Sorry you are having such a hard time stitch. I hope you get lots of TLC for the next few days and we will all be keeping our fingers crossed for you xxxxxx

shellsocks Fri 21-Jun-13 16:42:09

Congrats bump and santa you can both relax now, that's great news smile

Pentagon Fri 21-Jun-13 16:36:06

santa, bump congratulations!! Great news, so happy for you both!! bump I remember you saying it may be a girl so you got it right too! (it seems I'm the only one who has no intuition whatsoever - half the time I thought it's a girl, the other half a boy)

stitch glad the CVS went well and you're feeling OK. Good luck with the result, I hope the next few days go quickly for you. I've heard of the possibility of the Harmony failing (something about not having enough of the baby's blood/DNA in the mother's bloodstream? I think that's what I was told when I had mine done and that's why they take that 3rd vial of blood for the combined test as a fall-back option) I think it's happened to a few more women on MN (thread on Harmony under screening tests, I think). It's really frustrating when that happens though...sorry you are in limbo :-( x

IBelieveInPink Fri 21-Jun-13 16:18:48

Santa and bump - fantastic news. So pleased. And yay for team pink!!

Stitch I'm so sorry, must be such a worrying time for you. I hope the next few days passes quickly, and you have plenty of distraction this weekend x

Wow I'm shattered now. Not doing great at work on 2 hours sleep, so have been browsing little dresses on John Lewis website smile

WillSantaComeAgain Fri 21-Jun-13 16:18:18

Fab news bump :-) I know what you mean about feeling sick to the extent you nearly are- I was the same.

Funny you say that about a boy- DH and I talked about it on the way home (baby talk all been banned) and he thinks the same. As do I. Next scan not till 16 Aug though, which is agggggeeeeessss away!

BumpKitty Fri 21-Jun-13 16:11:11

xpost - ace news santa smile

BumpKitty Fri 21-Jun-13 16:08:46

so sorry you're in for such a worrying wait stitch like others have said - still a 50% chance everything is ok. I am thinking of you xx

congratulations ibip i'm very happy for you both

Scan all done - snap with ibip, all looks good and likely to be a girl - she had her knees tight together so was tricky to tell but from what the sonographer did see she reckons girl grin I was happy either way but did have a feeling it was DD2.

I was nearly sick with nerves this morning and guess what, there was a bloody magpie flying about inside the hospital foyer! I was stood waiting for DH watching it flit back and forth, they had put a cage inside the foyer with a decoy magpie in to tempt it to get in but it was having none of it. Maybe a fake one still counts as it was joy rather than sorrow smile

Santa, hope all is going well - I know you are having a 12 week scan but I think yours is a boy smile

WillSantaComeAgain Fri 21-Jun-13 16:05:46

Oh stitch how stressful for you. Remember the NT on its own isn't that accurate, so keeping fingers crossed for you.

I have been lucky- good scan and spot on for dates. NT measuring 2.5mm so no reason for me to panic. Shattered but relieved and thinking I may even start to get excited (a little) xx

Hope the days goes fast for u stitch x

shellsocks Fri 21-Jun-13 13:28:54

I second janie and really hope tues comes fast for you stitch x
