I know that if a baby moves less than 10 times in 12 - 24 hours that it is something to worry about, but I have to opposite happening - this baby (my 2nd pregnancy) doesn't ever seem to rest! My DS was quite active too, but this one is ridiculous - sometimes the movements slow down, like it is moving in its sleep but it doesn't seem to go any longer than about 1/2 an hour without some sort of twitch, kick, roll or dance sequence! Is this normal, or is it something to be worried about? The midwife didn't seem at all concerned when I mentioned at my last appointment (roughly 2 weeks ago) that this baby was quite active, but since then he/she has stepped up the pace somewhat...

Mines a constant wriggler too, I'm also 32 weeks. I had a midwife appointment today and she was having a hard time feeling my bump because it was somersaulting all over the place. She wasn't concerned and if your midwife isn't concerned either then I would say don't worry. I find a long walk somewhere quiet helps calm things down a bit.

I'll have to give it a try - it's even been waking me up at night with the constant jostling and jiving! My partner is getting concerned that we are going to have some sort of hyper-active never sleeping devil child who challenges us at every turn!
Personally I don't think it necessarily means that, but I would appreciate a few moments peace every now and again...
