My 4yo is still jumping all over me. And hitting and kicking my bump. (SN) I have been reassured that baby is fine and healthy in there.

I think that there is an awful lot of "padding" to get through, and that it hurts us on the outside more than the baby, who is truly well protected in there.

It's fine. Ds1 (severe SN) was 5 when I was pregnant with ds3. He used to use my bump as a stepladder to try & look over fences (ds3 thinks this is very funny) & was know to headbutt it hard at times when very angry. There's lots of padding, the baby is well protected & I don't think a small child could hit you hard enough to do damage.

My sons 16 months and went through a stage of headbutting always seemed to get my belly, baby's fine all tucked away nicely!

He now uses my bump as a seat which can't be much more pleasant for baby bump!
