28 weeka tomorrow and baby has been quieter than usual. On a normal day id feel around 20-40 movements a day.
Im on day2 of this and baby moved around 5 times yesterday. 2 slight kicks and shuffles.
Today ive felt hiccups and 2 movements.
It does worry me as ive not had a good feeling from the start of the pg. Like this baby is going to be ill. No matter what its my child. Ive got a child with sn and wouldn't change him for the world.

Ive got kidney problems so at high risk of premature labour plus pre eclampsia.

Anyone in the same boat?

Hi

Have you tried calling your midwife? Hopefully everything's OK but I'm sure they'll be able to put your mind at rest and maybe get you in to be checked over?

Good luck

I would get checked - better to be safe!

OP, I had the same with my baby this week at 29+ weeks. 2 days of quieter than normal activity so called the MWs - who were fantastic.
They gave some suggestions to encourage activity - ice cold drink, lay down for 45+ mins etc but also offered us monitoring & luckily my LO responded to it & has gone back to his normal, active self. Just had a quiet few days.
But as you have been worried enough to post, definitely contact your MW or hospital. Any change in movements etc should be checked.

Give a call to your midwife/ante-natal and insist on going in for a CTG. At this point in your pregnancy that shouldn't be a problem. It's likely your baby is just having a sleepy day but best to get it checked out to be sure.
