Pregnancy

Am I pregnant?.

Hi all,
I had my implant taken out a week ago. We've had sex 5 times and my AF came from Sunday-Wednesday.
Now I know what you must be thinking...it's only a week but I have reason to think it. My medication for epilepsy can sometimes decrease during pregnancy due to the baby. This can start as soon as you become pregnant, even within 12hours . I have been noticing changes on how my epilepsy tablets are working
What are the chances I'm pregnant??
Thanks xxx

Take a test, unfortunately we cant tell you through the screen. It seems unlikely.

You need to test.
Could the changes in your hormones after your implant removal affect your medication?

Is it too early to take a test as I'm not due my period? Make it up as you go along - thats what my husband thought so I rang the epilepsy nurse who said it wouldn't make any difference??

Sorry I am new to this!!!

When are you due?
How strange, how are you feeling otherwise?

My period is due around the 'teens' can be like the 13-16 start. Which is why it's way too early. Other than that I'm okay nothing has changed in my routine/work/diet I'm (we're) feeling positive about having a baby and very happy. We won some tickets to the baby show so we are thinking about going to get advice on pregnancy and babies :)

Worrying me a bit that the meds dont seem to be controlling me that well anymore?! They have been good for over 3 years.

But surely you have not even ovulated? You had your AF this week just gone right?

So as long as its a proper AF you wont even ovulate for another week?

I can't see how you can be.

Buy a two test kit (if you can afford it) you sound as impatient as me, do one now, then wait and do another in a week or so. My second one was positive, I made DH bet me a takeaway- it tasted gooood! You sound like you want to conceive, if they're both negative, get busy Wink x

Lol at marvellous you!!! Yeah I want to be pregnant NOW!!!

I can understand why people say I can't see how I can be. I am as skeptical. But why the big changes in my meds?? That's whats got me thinking xxx

I had my implant out end of Feb and had pregnancy systems for the first month - nausea etc. convinced myself I must be pg, I wasn't Hmm

No idea about your medication but think its unlikely you'll be oh so quickly (but not impossible) wait a couple of weeks and take a test, only way to know for sure. Or if you are worried about your medication go to GP for a blood test.

I don't know, I think it may have been my body adjusting to the hormones.

I feel more 'myself' again, no nausea, headaches, bloating etc but my cycle isn't completely back to normal yet.

Hope you get the news you want.
