Hi, I'm 5 weeks 2 days pregnant and up until this morning I had really sore boobs and couldn't clean my teeth without gagging. This morning I didn't gag and my boobs have been completely painless I'm really worried that I'm going to miscarry. I want this baby more than anything. Has anyone else had this and not miscarried?

I have no advice but I am in the same position!

Perhaps we should take it as good news that its not just one of us?

I'm a little bit further than you, 6 weeks, but my boobs have calmed down (which, apart from being tired, was my only symptom really!)

Hopefully someone will be along soon to tell us!

Hi I'm 5-6 weeks with DC2, my boobs don't hurt every day and don't think they did with DS. I also didn't get MS with DS (although have been off certain foods this time)

We are all so different, you can't compare yourself to how others are feeling as for everyone who pukes every day, there are lots who don't really have any symptoms - you just don't get many people posting about it on here.

You could always try a CB digi to double check that you hcg levels are going up, but they aren't always that accurate. A scan won't show anything conclusive (ie heartbeat) until at least 6.5 weeks so sorry to say, you have to just wait it out.

With my first pregnancy my only symptoms were pms like symptoms, little cramping and back ache but no period came and it lasted a week. Plus my boobs grew and were sensitive. But that was it. After a couple weeks I felt like they shrunk back and no symptoms. I even asked my husband and took a pregnancy test to assure myself I was still pregnant. I just waited until 12 weeks scan! I don't know how I did tht. No symptoms at all and belly flat, no weight gain etc. went in for 12 week scan and was nervous there would be no baby in there. I held my husbands hand and closed my eyes as the sonographer put the stick (not sure what it's called) and heard her say: oh! There is the baby! And I opened my eyes and could to believe what I saw, a little human being. So cute and tiny, my baby! Couldn't believe u could see so clearly and little baby! Had, arms and legs etc. bouncing away. She is now a healthy 14 months. I'm 13 weeks pregnant w my second and had same fears going to my 12 week scan, but all fine. This time around though I feel extra tired and tummy hurts every day. All pregnancies are different. Hope this helps!

It happened to me and i even started spotting. Having had a previous mc i assumed it must mean i was losing the baby. I didn't and now i have a lovely little boy.

Thanks mamabear, that's a lovely story!

Thanks too chocolate! I have a scan booked for 2 weeks on Tuesday, so I will just have to wait it out. I don't think I'm overly worried, I already know that my symptoms seem to be far less severe than others are experiencing. It just seems like the worry of motherhood has started already and I'm sure it will never stop!

Ganetgob, I hope all is fine! It's normal to worry. But just remember. All pregnancies are different. Some women puke ten times a day and some not at all. I've never thrown up once (knock on wood!!). And w my first, seriously felt so normal, no symptoms after the initial pms symptoms and lack of period. I really worried if I wasn't pregnant. ESP bc I knew two girls that sadly miscarried. Plus I was slim, flat tummy. I even have a photo of me 11 weeks in bikini to the side and I looked at it the other day and thought omg, my belly was so small...the only way I could really let myself feel calm and feel pregnant was that 12 week scan, seeing the baby bounce around and heart beat.

This time around I feel ill and belly growing sooner. Can't fit in my pants. Second time is usually like that.

Just like all pregnancies are different, all labours are different. Some people have 48 hours of labour, while others have 2 hours. Some the pain is unbearable and some not so bad....u heard of the women who didn't know they were pregnant until they sat on toilet w babies head coming out? Lol.

Good luck at ur scan!

Good luck to you both!! Hope it has helped knowing you're not alone.

I really gave up hope and wallowed in bed for two days. My boobs had stopped hurting, wasn't tired and just did not have that feeling of being pregnant at all. I cried when i went for an internal scan and there was a heartbeat!

It can all be fine so keep your chins up xx

Hi guys. I'm 12 weeks pregnant on my 4th baby. I can absolutely guarantee you that the feelings you've described can come and go. None of them means anything bad is happening. My boobs only hurt at very start. Like the week I was missing my period. But sickness didn't happen till later. Sometimes I was okay and sometimes not.
But don't be afraid to see your doctor if you want to. Your not being silly or wasting time. They're there for you.

Hi OP, just want to reassure you that symptoms come and go, especially at this early stage your body is learning how to cope with the hormones and differs from day the day, hour to hour. I say this, but i was a nervous wreck in the first 12 weeks and analysed everything...actually have done the whole way through and still do now at 34 weeks.

But worrying is awful so see your gp if you need to put your mind at rest they are there for you. Good luck

Have had this disappearing symptoms thing and it ended up being a missed miscarriage last year.

Also had the disappearing symptoms thing this year, and am now 26 weeks pregnant!

Sooo.... symptoms do come and go (then reappear randomly with a vengeance!)

To be perfectly honest, everything and nothing is normal and anything and nothing can happen in normal pregnancies where nothing is wrong, never mind pregnancies that don't progress and there's just no way to tell, just to sit tight and hope for the best really.

Good luck!
