Change in movements - should I be worried

Hi all, I'm 32+1 and for the past two days I've noticed a difference in baby's movements. I am still feeling movements but they just don't feel as pronounced as they normally do. I have read conflicting information about movements and so don't know if it is normal that the movements feel more gentle now that there is less space? Also normally she has a mad half hour or so when I go to bed but this hasn't been the case. That said I have been going to bed earlier this week so could it be that I am just asleep by the time she's feeling energetic?
Sorry if i'm waffling but would appreciate advice on whether this sounds normal or not?

Ring your MW or the mat ward for advice.

Well, movements do change and usually it's for no apparent reason.

But you won't know unless you go an get checked. MWs would rather see a hundred women who aren't sure what's going on and don't know whether they should be worried, than deal with the potential consequences of missing one where intervention or enhanced monitoring in indicated.

Hi, I had this over the weekend at 38 weeks.

Ever since I could feel movements she has always been a violent little bugger, and then Saturday it just turned into pathetic little taps. I called the delivery suite and went in. They gave me 3 CTG's that showed her heart rate was perfect, but I still wasn't happy. They gave me a scan, she was barely moving so they kept me in for monitoring and called the consultant in on Sunday morning to give me a Doppler scan.

Lo and behold as soon as the consultant walks in she wakes up, and I don't think she's gone back to sleep since. But the consultant said I did the right thing and am welcome back any time, whenever I am worried.

So yeah, no MW or Dr died from checking over a pregnant woman. Always get in contact if you're worried.

Thank you for your responses! I actually have a scan and consultant appointment booked for tomorrow so as I am still feeling movement do you think it will be ok to wait until then?

They seemed quite happy for me to wait until tomorrow as I am still feeling quite regular movements. Hopefully its nothing to worry about and I shouldn't of pushed to be seen today :/
