Very nice. I am considering one of these. Just the stroller bit, as I have car seats and a carry cot already.

I like it but we went to look at it and it was so heavy we gave it a miss.

I have gone for the Jane as well - it is a 3 wheel model as I want one that will off road (it is not the slalom pro - a slightly newer lighter 3 wheel the name of which escapes me!). I decided against the lie flat car seat as won't be doing any long journeys (and found it heavy) and went for a light weight carry cot attachment which packs down completely flat instead with their normal infant car seat.

Loads of people have recommended Jane prams to me - they are rugged and hardwearing. We met a lady who had a 9 year old one (on 4th child) and it still looked new! Also had a friend with relatives in Scotland which is several hours drive from where we are and the lie flat car seat was apparently fantastic.

Mine due to arrive any day - I found it very manouvarable and lightweight but rugged when I went to try it out.

Yeah the car seat/carrycot was what soldit to me really.
The fact you can recline the carseat to trasform it into a carrycot is a bril idea i think, not sure i will use it reclined in the car but its nice that i.have that option. Also good as i wont have a car seat and abig carrycot to store.

We ordered the Jane trider with the matrix car seat at the baby show, when it got delivered OMG I'd forgotten how heavy the car seat was! I actuallyl weighed out 8lb of canned food and put it in the car seat to see how heavy it would be with an average size newborn in it. For me it was too heavy so we decided to exchange it for the strata car seat instead which is much lighter and still compatible with the trider chassis.

Like you we were sold by the matrix due to the lie flat option where in reality I don't think we'd of used it that much. Baby is due in 3 weeks and I'm so looking forward to pushing him/her round in the trider, I've heard great reviews about all the Jane prams - just that the matrix car seat is a lot heavier than others!

We picked our Jane Trider up 2 weeks ago from shop .
we bought the lie flat transporter/ carry cot , strata car seat , pram seat , and got the matching jane footmuff £90 for free also got jane raincovers for each attatchment worth £100 for free .
we chose it as we live on farm , i also have horses so needed a rugged system .
also will be driving from Wales to Scotland often and the lie flat will be great for that .
baby due in 4 days .
