I am 5'3, do I need a 55cm or 65cm birth ball?

Hi,

I am 5'3, do I need a 55cm or 65cm birth/gym ball?

The size charts seems to vary, with UK ones suggesting I'd need the 65cm, and US ones suggesting I'd need the 55cm. Any idea?

Also did anyone buy The Birth Ball Base? Would I need it? Never used a gym ball before!

Thanks Thanks

Hello 55cm goes up to 5ft 6 on the box of mine so I think you'd need a 55cm one.

I have a gym ball rather than a birth ball but can highly recommend the gym balls ( I think they are cheaper too).

One thing - make sure anything you buy is anti burst - I've heard a few cheap ones can explode and that would not be good !

I am 5'4 and have the 55cm one. Seems the right size.

I'm 5'3 have a 65cm and even that feels like it's a little too small so definitely not 55cm.

I'm 5'1" and when I sat on the 65cm one at NCT the other night I went skidding off. Am definitely far too short for it. Grin
