Third Trimester Questions?

Hi all,

Just wondering when your 3rd trimester tiredness, lack of energy, can't sleep started?

I'm at 23 weeks- feel on top of the world and can't imagine feeling any different at the moment! In denial!

Thanks

For me, bad back pain, pelvic girdle pain, not being able to breathe properly or get comfortable in bed, feeling knackered a lot started about 30/31 weeks. Mind you, I am no spring chicken at 43.

I was an all singing all dancing pain in the neck until 37 weeks. I had loads of energy, was walking 5 miles a day, doing everything I normally would, and looking fantastic. Then spd hit....

Now I can't walk without a stick, can't sleep due to the pain, and can't get this baby out of me fast enough. Due in two days.... if she goes over I WILL cry.

That said, I have had acid reflux problems from about 30 weeks, but I discount those as after I started vomiting blood the dr gave me ranitidine which really helped. Problems with a solution aren't problems at all. Now if someone somewhere could come up with a similarly effective solution for spd I'd be really grateful Grin

//worsestershiresauce you have my sympathy, I only get the hip pain when I sleep on my left, unfortunately if I sleep on my right I get indigestion so I can't win.
I also have a bloody nose (not a nose bleed but it bleeds when I blow it and it's rather uncomfortable), oh and I cry for no reason.

I'm at 31 weeks, I'm currently finding attending a pregnancy Pilates class is helping

I was amazingly energetic until 37+4 and it hit me like a tonne of bricks!!

Now cannot sleep, cannot breathe, cannot move... ugh!!!

So don't worry, if you're anything like me you'll have a lot of life in you yet!

I am 37 and 3, exhausted from running after a crazed 16 month old and rapidly losing the will to live. Confused

I was the same! Couldn't imagine feeling uncomfortable or lack of sleep etc. Mine hit a couple of weeks ago at about 33 weeks. Now tiredness has hit, cant get tights on without sitting on the bed. Need help off of the sofa. Got something constantly digging under my left rib and sleeping is a whole new battle!
Oh I'm sorry to say it so horribly. Hopefully you'll sail through, if not, try to relax. Hot baths, nice hot mugs of oviltine and a cheesy magazine. This is my first pregnancy so it's all new to me too! But can't wait to meet little one

I started getting hip pain when I slept at about 25 weeks, I'm 27 weeks now. Haven't slept well since about 12 weeks though! And I am always tired! Can't wait to have this baby and at least the sleep it allows me to have will be comfortable Wink

Last two weeks - from 28 weeks have been proving uncomfortable for me. Morning sickness went and heartburn under control with antacids.
Now though have had wake up call with a bleed last night and am taking it easy. Anyway at least in the third tri you don't have much longer to go!

Last week at the height of trying to commute during half term (33 weeks). It's mostly very very low BP combined with very squished lungs. Stairs feel like a mountain these days, I can feel the air getting thinner...

I'm 24+4 and feeling pretty good and energetic, although the heart burn has just started, mostly when I'm lying down. Also occasionally get bad pain in my knees which I think is because of the strain from the extra weight.

I am dreading when the discomfort/tiredness is going to hit, because it's so cumulative: once you get a problem it doesn't tend to go away until after the birth.

Thanks all- this is actually helping rather than my bubble of denial

I'm only 19+2 and I can't sleep more that 3-4 hours most nights. Even if I could sleep, I get hip pain no matter what way I am laying. I get heartburn and this pregnancy has made my IBS worse. My bump feels so heavy and makes walking a bit uncomfortable. I also have lower back ache and hip ache when I walk.

This is why this one (no3) is the last...well, that and the fact I'll be 39 when I give birth!!
