Side effects - whooping cough jab

Hi all
I had my whooping cough jab this morning, declined the offer to read about the side effects because it wouldn't have made any difference to whether I had the jab or not.
But, now I feel sick - is this likely to be caused by the jab, or just because of the crumpets I've had for breakfast??!!

TIA x

I had mine a couple of days ago and the only side effect I had was a numbish arm (still got a numbish arm) and sort of fluey/achyness. I have only heard of these symptoms, not sickness.
Perhaps keep a close eye on yourself as there are a few bugs going around (novovirus is making the rounds in my office).

Apart from the dead arm, I felt really poorly in general for about 24 hours, starting maybe 6 hours or so after the jab.

It's not a "live" vaccine so can't make you ill. Same as the flu jab. When people say they feel fluey after having the flu jab it's either conincidence or pyschosomatic.

Hope the sickness passes soon though!

I was running a temperature, so maybe I had just picked up the lurgies then. Just assumed it must have been caused by the jab.
