Does it mean anything is the baby's head is low?

Doctor examined me yesterday and commented that the baby's head is very low (but no dilation yet). Am almost 36wks (baby #2, DD went to 40+2).

Is there any chance this means that the baby might be on the way sooner rather than later? I realise this is clutching at straws but wanted to see if there was at least a little hope - am so done with being pregnant!

My DDs head was right the way down from about 35 weeks. She actually caused me quite a lot of pain being so low down.

She didn't arrive until 39 weeks.

Has your Dr said if the head is fully engaged or not? x

I'm getting the pain! Feels like my cervix is being attacked...

No: she just said that the head was low, but no dilation yet....

39wks is good! It's sooner than 40!! ;)

Hopefully you wont have to wait too long. I bought a birthing ball, it really helped to ease the pain. It supposedly helps the baby to engage too xx

It's worth it. I just sat on it and rolled my hips about, the relief was amazing. In the end I gave up sitting on the sofa and just sat on the ball most of the time x

With my first all the midwives commented 'gosh that baby's low'. I could barely walk it was so painful in my pelvis from about 35 weeks.

My waters broke after a sweep at 41 weeks. Sorry!

MW has told me baby's head was engaged when saw her at 37 weeks and am now 38+1. Have section booked at 39 weeks unless baby comes before then but baby's head has been very low from about 25 weeks and bump has been extremely low with everyone from supermarket cashier to passers by commenting how low I am and how they bet it unlikely I will last the full 40 weeks. MW did say that just because low/ engaged does not mean I will go into labour before 40 weeks but it I am sure it must mean you are more likely to.
