Hello all! Hope you can help! I'm 39 weeks and trying to get organised for Christmas before our own gift arrives! I want to buy husband something special. Yes I know I've done all the hard work over the lady 9 months etc etc but he's been amazing and has had to deal with a few difficulties this year himself :-(
Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated xxx thank you xxx

What about a book that involves daddy's that he could read to baby. my Niece has a book about the best dad in the world.
A digital camera
A photo frame so you can put a pic of you and baby in
A digital photo frame
A comedy jumper or t shirt saying I'm the daddy

Camera is a great idea because it'll get so much use when baby arrives!

I bought DP a digital camera for his 40th in Oct - he's not a materialistic kind of person and had absolutely no idea of what I could get him, so I used my own initiative.
He absolutely loved it - he's been taking it to rugby matches and fancying himself as a bit of a sports photographer, and Nipperette is due in Feb, so I'm sure it'll get plenty of use then too.
So - another vote for a camera!

A digital photo keyring, so he has piccy's to show off his first born. I bought DH on a couple of years ago and he said it was the best present he had ever been kidding (they're not expensive either).

I never know what to get my dh so I tend to to a gift bag/box of all his favourite things, like his aftershave and fave treats etc, then ill go to the gadget shops, we have a menkind near us and they're good, and look for little novelties that would make him laugh. So you can control your budget by getting lots of little things an it makes you seen very observant in what he likes! Lol. But I do agree that a camera is a great gift too x

Hello! I'm only 23+3 but I've started making DP a 'new daddy' (cringe) bag for when we bring baby home, as I'm sure all the attention will be on me and he deserves a ruddy good pat on the back for his midnight tesco trips, putting up with my dragon rage, doing all the housework etc

So far I've got a pop up copy of "Guess how much I love you" to read to the baby, as the main characters are father and child (I think!). A copy of "Dear dad, from you to me" to fill out. A baby football kit in his favourite team, some earplugs and some slippers for those cold night changes Grin

I've made my oh his own labour bag!! I've bought a satchel bag he can use again and filled it with:

T-shirts
Socks
Pants
Deo, t-brush, t-paste
Spare phone charger
Book to read to baby
Baby manual for men
Digital photo keyring
Ear plugs
Snacks
Bag change
Letter from me telling him how much I love him!

Xxx
