Hi ladies,
I keep reading different things about this so I was wondering; for a 1st baby, what's the earliest you can feel the baby move? I'm only 14+2 but just had the strangest sensation in my lower right side and it made me wonder.
Many thanks x

I'm expecting my first, felt her at seventeen weeks, despite having a lot of stomach padding. Was another couple of weeks before I was sure what I was feeling though.

I think I felt my first move at about 14 weeks. It was a very faint feeling of bubbles, also on the side. I was about 20 weeks when I realised it wasn't wind.

I felt movement at about 13 weeks - a sort of fish-flopping-over sensation. But only very occasionally (like every few weeks). Now I'm 23 weeks I'm getting more proper thumps and bumps.

What I felt yesterday was light a load of little bubbles floating up my lower right hand side. It was gentler than wind lol and I've never felt it before (and haven't since) x

Bunnychan dont worry thats your little baby xx you'll be feeling them soon all the time, plus tremendous kicks/stretches/scrapes all the time day and night.

I was 13 weeks, it felt like a mobile phone vibrating in my tummy. It happened maybe every other day and only when I was on my back.

It is so magical :)
