ready or not?

started potty training ds 2.5yr 2 days ago and so far doing really well, very few accidents and ds mostly goes to potty without asking. However, he is going at least 2 times an hour! (possibly for a chocolate button reward?) also he drinks A LOT at least as much as an adult might drink in the day, perhaps 5 large sippy cups(with straw) also when i put him in caracter pants he has accidents and thinks he is wearing a nappy, He has been wearing nappies when we go out and just wees in them, we havent had a poo in the potty yet and only 1 on the floor! Does that mean he has no bladder control and cant wait? his nappies are always really full , but he does drink alot. any advice please, should i postpone? or continue as he does seem to have the idea?

I found that DD went really often the first couple of weeks, but it soon calmed down, she was getting stickers as rewards

Been dry 7 weeks now and can easily go 2 hours plus between trips to potty.

He's learning; don't give up on him yet.
