4.5 yr old smells of wee every evening

Our toilet-trained 4.5 yr old girl is often reeking (in a alcoholic tramp sort of way) of wee in the evenings after a day at nursery. She's been potty-trained for a year and goes to the loo and wipes on her own. I'm concerned this might be noticed when she changes for PE when she starts school in September.

Does anyone else notice this smell and any idea what exactly is the problem? We're wondering if it is a wiping issue, or mini accidents. She does have a problem which makes bladder control harder and she was quite a late potty trained, however we've not otherwise noticed an issue. We've not had any luck from asking her.

Try getting her some padded underpants for nursery, they will absorb any drips. This kind of thing
Try not to worry about other children noticing, in reception most of the class will have some form of accident, so smelling like pee won't be noticeable.
