Hi,
My DD has been able to tell me she is going to do a poo for a while and says "wee wees happening". She can dress and undress herself successfully, watches me use the toilet, flushes it for me, and takes her nappy off herself and sits on potty or toilet happily. All good yeah?
However she has never done anything in either toilet or potty and gets quite stressed if she feels she really needs to and doesn't have a nappy on. The other day she took her nappy off and pulled her trousers back up saying "no nappy for me". I brought the potty down and said let me know if you need it. She told me she needed a poo but then just did it in her trousers straight away before I could make it across the room. I was breezy about it and she wasn't bothered until I suggested we put it in the potty or toilet. Then she freaked out.
I know we've trained her to go in her nappy and it's now a matter of convincing her otherwise. I am just not sure whether to just jump in and do it (and if so how?) or leave it for another while?
Thanks for reading
