Day 2 potty training - how do we get out the house??

Anyone have any ideas?? Day 2 potty training and things seem to be going well. Toddler loves peeing in potty. Had about 3 accidents yesterday then seemed to get it. Loved getting stickers, chocolate buttons and lots of praise. He woke up this morning and was really excited about using the potty. Had 1 accident so far which I'm really pleased about.

My question is how / when do we venture out the house? He is peeing every 5-20mins. I'm worried if we go out we won't make it to a toilet in time. Also a bit worried he is only doing tiny frequent pees to get a choc button!! So should we just venture out and hope for the best? Or does anyone gave any idea how we can lengthen time between peeing?

Thanks for any tips!

you don't arrange to be anywhere at a certain time
you wait until he's done a decent wee
you then leg it to your destination - which is ideally outdoors, or with a wipe-clean floor, high tolerance of small DC, and with easily accessible loos.

you offer the loo/potty again as soon as you get there.

you leave after a decent wee.

we stuck to toddler group, sainsbury's and MIL's house for the first week just in case.

I would just stay home 3 days so thy are used to it first, get him to use toilet rather than pity if possible as easier when out then as he won't freak out by toilet ( plus easier as no gross potty to clean)

Then toilet before go, toilet on arrival at destination, toilet when leave, toilet when home. I would try to only go to local friends, library, groups etc first week where you know toilet is availiable. Then it's established and should be able to go longer

We are on day 4, told DD that before we go in the car we all do a wee, which she did, have put one of my maternity bed mats folded over on her car seat just in case.
When we arrived at town this afternoon (20 mins in car) offered potty but she wasn't bothered, took her to toilet with me in cafe, she wasn't bothered. Then we we got back to our car 2 hours later she did a wee in her potty. Think she must have been holding it! I am just asking her all of the time!
We are using chocolate buttons too and she keeps trying and insisting she has done a wee to get one! :-p They are going to run out at some point but they have been working very well so far!
