Hello, my Dd was 2 in March and 4 weeks ago, the day before we were due to fly away for a 2 week holiday, out of the blue she started asking to go to he toilet. She went for numerous wee's on the toilet when prompted by us but with this being completely out of the blue we had no knickers with us etc so didn't push this at all.

We're now back at home and I have bought knickers, have brought the potty downstairs and she has occasionally used this but has always had a nappy on when were out.

Yesterday as we had an afternoon at home I didn't put a nappy on my Dd and for the first time we had no accidents and she successfully went on the potty a few times without prompting.

I would like to try potty training properly now but the problem is I cannot get time off work to spend as much time with her as I would have liked. I do however have the next 2 days off work so was wondering if any of you wise lot have some mega tips on how I can possibly help her crack this in this limited amount of time?! Please Smile

Just keep doign what you are doing, it seems to be working.

You need to infor the nursery / childminder now too.

Thank you. I've let the childminder know and have prepared to take a stupid amount of changes of clothes for her.

We have spent 2 days housebound apart from dog walks. 3 accidents in total so I don't think that's too bad. Dd still isn't vocalising her need to go to the toilet but constant nagging seems to prompt her when she does. Just wish I'd had more time to prepare her for being out and about?!

Thanks for the reply Smile
