what on earth is an ipotty?

Thread titles like this one are the reason I don't hide the topics I don't actually frequent.

Perhaps an iPotty has some built in elimination apps? Or like an iDalek has sleek lines and though it claims to do the same thing and be latest design, just never stands up to comparison to the good old originals?

this gives me an opportunity to ask a question.

Surely Potty training is more than just expecting a child to sit on a potty for ages and ages in case they pee?

I have NEVER done this with my son, he's on and off in a jiffy and if he doesn't wee then he doesn't wee!

am I doing it wrong?

If they did them in adult size I'd never see DH. Grin

thats the approach I took Dueling! Although DS did choose to take a book with him a couple of times!

Things like that sound more like "distract them then catch the wee" than potty training!

oh wow - really. I don't think that I would ever be able to get my son to stay sitting on the potty until he has a wee. If he doesn't want one then he gets up (though he will sometimes really try hard to do one)!
