My son turned 4 in February and has been potty trained for quite sometime but no matter what we do he refuses to wear pants. He's at nursery at the moment and they are fine with it but would like him wearing pants for starting school in sept. Any ideas would be a massive help x

Do you mean he is wearing pull ups?

I eventually got my son into pants by 'running out' of nappies.

'Oh dear, only two nappies left...only one left,... that's the last one....what shall we wear now?'

He then made the suggestion to change to pants himself. I don't know if that helps - this was at 3years and a few months. Still only limited success with potty training though!

Obviously you then need to avoid seeing nappies in shops etc until he has forgotten about them!

Afraid not. He is toilet trained other than night time but goes everywhere commando. He has a total fit if we try to get pants on him but he has started to get a sore winky so I really want to sort this out but there is no reasoning with him at the mo he is just adamant he won't wear pants x

Ah, that is a different problem! Grin

Would superman be any help here?

What about shorts, swimming trunks or something else that does the job but isn't quite like pants?

Not quite sure what has happened but our wee man has had pants on for 3 days now. We have to do magic pants and put his pants and trousers on at the same time but I don't care, it's working woo hoo!!!!
