Its OK that my DD2 at 27 months isn't interested in training isn't it...

DD1 trained at 26 months in a day, but DD2 just isn't interested. Desperately wanted to do it over the summer holidays, but its just not going to happen for her.

Feeling pressure from people to get it done, but if she's not ready, she's not ready.

Tis ok isn't it that she doesn't want to train....

I waited 'til DS was 2.8 and he was still not ready. Should have listened to my gut and waited until he was at least 3 as it took a year, and we're still having accidents, both number 1s and number 2s, frequently.

I would be led by her. Forcing it too early is a complete nightmare for all involved.

I shall learn from experience and only do DD when I'm sure she's ready....

My ds is 2.10 years old, and after two failed attempts at toilet training earlier this year with lots of stress and tears, he woke up last Friday and announced he wanted to wear pants. My dh and I explained that he mustn't wee or poo in his pants and must try to use the toilet. After a morning of accidents he wee'd on the toilet. We have had a few accidents but apart from that he's doing really well and has even managed a few poo's on the toilet too.
I had been told several tines to wait until he was ready and it worked. There has been little stress.
It really does pay to wait until they give you the signal that their ready.
