Fantastic news Many, many congratulations Blossom2 and welcome to the world Charlotte. I feel quite emotional about the first in the "August" club being born. Sounds like an ideal birth as well, you lucky thing.

and to you Blossom. Great that everything went so well. Maybe I'll get to join you in another 7 weeks or so. I'm getting goosebumps that one of us August people has already popped.

Only got back from hospital today and my breasts are hurting & size of melons!! breastfeeding is much harder than i thought, sore nipples but no bleeding yet. met with lactation consultant and she gave me confidence to continue ....

Brain not quite engaged and feeling like superwoman (can do everything). Still got terrible water retention, legs and feet still swollen. Very hot in paris also but very sunny.

Still in shock i think. DD2 sleeping loads and even after a couple of bottles has gotten lazy about breastfeeding. having to re-learn the last 3 days because i wanted a couple of nights sleep in the hospital. Just started a diary of what happens during the day !!!

wish me luck everyone ....

What's 3.2kg in real money? I am now 37+2 and wondering how big this db wriggling inside me is...

blossom2 · 12/07/2005 07:20

Dh worked it out to be 7lbs 1oz!!! at the 32 week scan, the woman said she was about 2kg, so Charlotte has gained 1kg in 5 weeks!!!

Hi Congratulations Blossom! Well done , Ilove your choice of names!
That's 2-0 to the girls so far. I am claiming 2nd place Cerys was born T 12.03 am on 11th July 6lb 10oz (3.01kg), very fast labour, induced because waters had broken early at 36 weeks.

Azure · 12/07/2005 15:33
