NEW TO HAYWARDS HEATH-WEST SUSSEX

OK, having lived in London and Hertfordshire for a good majority of my life, we have uprooted and moved to Haywards Heath with our delightful, bubbling-with-energy 20 month old daughter Lydia. Considering I'm a former fashion stylist who was used to adapting to clients' demands and new environments at the drop of a hat (no pun intended), I am somewhat daunted by the prospect of meeting other mums! However the thought of wandering around endless classes in the hope of meeting at least one like minded mum, also daunts me, so if you fancy saving a thirtysomething from this nomadic exsistence and have children of a similar age, please get in touch, before I eat more chocolate!!!

Dawn xx

Hi. I'm in Haywards Heath. There was another thread um haywards heath thread . (Yay it worked!)

My dd's are 8 and 5 and I wonder how they have got so old! Pre school I used to wish I'd moved to Cuckfield as I was always there for tumble tos/music bus/ballet. Come to think of it I will be there for ballet tomorrow....

Welcome to HH anyway and I agree chocolate is good, I've taken to drinking it and am off to drink some more and get to sleep.

Hello, well in the light of the sudden chill, over-compensating on the chocolate...

Kitty, I have a close friend living in Brighton, She just about to move to Bexshill though..so I often see signs to Lewes, so it is good to know it's just 20 mins away...I'd be up for meeting somewhere new?

Hi Lockets, hope that the move goes well...let me know when you get to Horsham...after living in London, a 20 min drive is far from daunting, compared with going from N1 to SW...why the move?
ps. Thanks for the welcome!

weatherwax...I impressed with your thread..I am crap at most things tech...Not sure if you are around during the week, but if you fancy a costa coffee...let me know..
Dawn
