Hope none of you mind but thought id start a new thread!!!

Obviously we are all SOOOO busy!!!!

I really dont know where the time is going! Its been a year now since my mum died and im pleased with how i coped at the weekend with everything.
Alex-Leigh is growing TOO fast and i really cant keep up! She has 6 gnashers and uses them to her full advantage! She crawls faster then the speed of light and has built up enough confidence to stand alone for a few minutes at a time! New shoes at Clarkes last weekend and she is a 3G! Eats like a horse (just like her mummy) and proudly points and says THERE and DADA as well as shaking her her to say NO all the time!!

Starting to think about a first birthday party but will definately have to keep it samll due to christmas being the following week!!!

Hope everyone is OK.

Hi all,

I can not believe that 3 weeks today George will be celebrating his first brthday. 3 WEEKS, my God thats nothing.

We have bought his big present and are planning to invite family around in the afternoon for a party buffet. Nothing huge or amazing just a lovely relaxed birthday. We may even take him to the local indoor soft play as a treat in the morning, who knows?

Bonkerz so glad that you coped OK with the weekend it must have been difficult.

George has turned into a proper little boy so big and strong and really really mischevious (sp) he has had his first cold/chest infection of the season I whipped him down to the Dr's and got antibiotics for him, I suppose I am a bit weary about it all after being told he was fine last year by 2 Drs and then having him rushed to hospital not breathing, a whole week in hospital with bronchilitis does not make a happy Christmas, this one will be much better. I hope all your lo's are OK and probably getting into everything.

Speak with you all soon, I shall try and post a pic of George on his first B-day and link it to this page. Maybe you could all do the same?

your welcome flutter.

Wanted to ask you ladeeees some advice too. Alex-leighs sleep pattern is really mucked up! Since she cut 6 teeth in less than 4 weeks ive been trying really hard to sort her sleeping out but seemed to have dug a hole for myself and am too knackered to find a way out so maybe you can help!! PLEASE!!!

Alex currently sleeps for 2 hours every afternoon (12.30 till 2.30pm) then is shattered by 6pm so goes to bed, she only drinks about 4 oz of her 8 oz bottle and refuses to take milk during night and therefore wakes at 5.30am and thinks she can scream till i get up! Strangely though she is not hungry and just wants her day to start!!! I much preferred it when she was waking at 4am for a bottle and sleeping till 7!!! What can i do?

Hhhhhmmmmmm this thread hasn't really taken off has it!!!!

Bonkerz George did something similar I just took it as one of those things he grew out of it in a few weeks. Not much help I know.

GEORGE IS NOW 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It wa shis birthday yesterday and we had so many people round the house was packed, he has been spoilt rotten. I sat at 8.07pm (the time he was born) with him having a cuddle and a little cry. It was fab.

I shall post a pic on here as soon as I get time, I seem to spend all my time dodging out of Georges way as he runs across the front room pushing his walker!!!!

Hello to you all, I hope people still pop in from time to time.

I am trying to plan ds's 1st birthday at the moment. We have just signed up for Tumble Tots classes which will be on his birthday so thats one thing sorted. Anyone else really struggling with what presents to get?

He has 6 teeth now and two more on the way and is strolling around the house like he ownes the place. We brought his first plair of shoes the other day and he was so funny in them - it was like we had glued his feet to the ground.

I can't believe some of you are about to have another. I would fill my house with babies if it wasn't for the pregnancy bit!

Everyone looking forward to xmas?
take care, lots of love

Hi ladies
It's been such a quick year hasn't it?? I can't belive my little one will be one in two weeks!! It's flown by. She'll be a teenager before I know it! We have 8 teeth lots of walking around furniture, I'm sure she is in a world of her own most of the time. Oh and she is obsessed with Ballamorey! She says Da Da but still calls me Ba Ba. We're bringing her to see Santa on her birthday. It's going to be a very different Xmas this year compared to last year, DD is just like her mama she gets very excited when she sees the Xmas trees and lights. I have no idea what Santa is going to bring her.....
