Ooh Inge to start a new thread. So if the last one was the one where they don't sleep, then they'll start to sleep now, yes?

I go back to work next Weds Kitty. DS started properly today. Full day today, tomorrow and Friday. I've just done a lovely yoga class and am using the next few days to have lunches, get hair cut etc. miss DS though. Sad

pear definitely want to hear all TTC details! I'm beginning to accept that I will do it all again but not yet!

It's good to miss the little ones! Finally get a chance to reclaim your identity and take some time for yourself. Sounds like you've got all sorts of great plans lined up! It feels like I'm missing something whenever M isn't with me, it's still hard to get used to when she's in daycare.... which a new development has just come up with ours. The drop-in gal we were using (who has been fantastic by the way) has decided to take a new baby full-time and now there isn't room for M to come occasionally anymore. There can only be 2 under the age of 2 and there is already a full-time infant there who is 8 months. How irrational is it to hate a baby? B/c I'm hating the baby whose taking our nice, cozy, and convenient spot. Angry M can't start at the Montessori where the boys go until she's 16 months so now I'm kind of back at square-one. The nanny is great but she's SO EXPENSIVE. Grrrrr...

I've got baby fever really bad right now. What is wrong with me?? It's not like I don't see pregnant women every day and babies getting pushed out 4x a month to remind me of how much work it was last time.... geesh. Hmm

Phew found u!

Ahh Lor that sounds like a really nice few days and well deserved!!

Bring ~ you're funny Smile You would think, you out of all of us would be the least broody!

I spent a small fortune on icing stuff today for bpears cake. I am a crazy fool as he won't even be eating it. He'll see the photo though in years to come Wink The pressure is now on as I've never done this before Shock

I'm now having doubts about becoming a bfeeding volunteer. Might not be the right time as I have no present child care and If I am going to get pregnant again it's a lot to commit to without really knowing what lies ahead. Hmmmm. I kind of thought it started now but training starts now and I won't be needed until January! Seems v far away!

I'm making vanilla sponge with jam and his fav toys in fondant icing. I am swapping half caster sugar with Trex to make it a bit more natural so he can have a small slice without the icing Smile

Jeeeeeze pear. That's a lot of pressure on you! M is getting a cupcake made out of all sorts of non-sweet and delicious things (courgette, applesauce, carrots, etc). and that's about the extent of that. When she's in bed we'll be feasting on chocolate cake Grin Muwahaha.

What does a breastfeeding volunteer do? Is it the same as a LLL leader?

What has the little guy got? I've got kitten nothing Confused
I've got to say you girls have made me laugh with you healthy half a slice with no icing lol if I tried to con kitten off with something like that when the others are eating proper cake she'd make merry hell! By there second birthday if you've kept them away from crap I'll be very impressed, I may have got to about 10 months before kittens allready had chocolate, Ice cream and biscuits, I will add not usually given to her by me but non the less I've obviously failed

I could cry. The GP put me on erythromycin for my bleapharitis & after taking it for just a couple of days I feel sick & have a rash. I'm already allergic to penicillin, I'm running out of ABs! Poor kid's are stuck in their rooms because I just can't deal with them right now. I'm sipping water & nibbling crackers but it's not helping much! Sad

Sorry, today's not a day for a pity party, there's a birthday to celebrate! Grin Calf had his first cake for his first birthday, Runt's already had some because he grabbed my hand & lunged! Definitely a determined child! Calf's so excited about Runt's birthday. He keeps singing at him & saying he'll blow out the candle! We're having a joint dedication & birthday celebration on the 25th but his birthday isn't until June 9th. We've already got his present though. I saw a car which converts from a rocker into a car/walker on eBay. Needs a good wash but he won't know it's second-hand! Poor child is fed up of being stuck in his pram when we're in the garden so this'll be a good way of stopping him eating mud again keeping him contained while providing him with more perceived freedom! Multiple relatives are getting him duplo so I think we're going to be inundated! Maybe we'll have enough that I can build a small play fort for them & we can play sieges where I trap them inside the duplo box for a while as a 'game'! Wink

I do feel the need to clarify - Runt did not eat mud on my watch... Nor did he fall off the bed twice... Perhaps I should sack DH, or only allow supervised contact... I might trap them behind stair gates when I can't pay them attention but at least they're usually safe! Wink

M is my human-hoover too. She'll eat anything off the floor and quite enjoys sampling rocks and sticks but this kid will not even take a bite of cucumber or sugar snap peas. I have such a goofy little girl.

That's really horrible that you're reacting to so many antibiotics Agnu! I know that a lot of people who are allergic to other antibx seem to do okay with zithromax. Have you tried this one yet?

Sounds like a super fun birthday for our first 1 year old on the bus!

Kitty, we are just very conscious of what's in our foods for the whole family. Sugar makes my kids into little psychos, they are extremely sensitive to even small amounts... and so we just all really limit the amount of refined sugars that we eat through the day.

DH and I are total zombies today. M was up every. single. hour until 4 am and then decided to sleep a whopping 2 hours and we were up again from 6 this morning. She also decided to completely FIGHT her nap with every ounce of strength she had before needing to be swaddled to stop her from smacking and scratching me. What the hell is wrong with this child?

In all of this drama I was begging DH to PLEASE please just rock her. I went in there 6 times to get her back to sleep and I just couldn't handle it anymore. He got on his "it's your role" high horse and started ranting at me saying that he was going to just bring her in bed with us (which defeats the whole purpose of trying to get her to sleep, she just wants to nurse non-stop and bite me through the night. F'ing SUCKS) so I grabbed my glass of water and pillows to go to the spare bedroom and told him he could deal with her in bed alone. He started ranting again whilst standing in the hall and I totally just splashed my entire glass of water in his face. Shock. The look of absolute shock and the satisfying sound of the liquid splashing all over his face has to be one of the most priceless moments in our marriage thus far. I will cherish my act out of pure frustration and exhaustion for the rest of my life. He didn't say anything after that. Just went and grabbed a towel, the baby, and went back to bed. (For the record, we made up and laughed our heads off about the whole ordeal). Eeeghads. What a night.

DSs 1and2 have their cute little musical preschool concert tonight. They are very excited to wear their new ties and get all dressed up tonight. Grin
