Wrist pain!!!

I'm not sure where to put this but figured post natal best section!
My DS is now 6 months old and from the week I gave birth I developed problems with my two wrists! I've been to the GP and they tell me this can be common during and after pregnancy & it should go away on its own.
However 6 months later and the pain is getting worse, so bad I've had to wear wrist straps!!
I can barely lift DS without pain and any bit of movement or strain really hurts!!
It's at the base of my two thumbs....
Anyone had this?? Does it eventually go??
Please help!!

Yes I had this after having my daughter. I also had very painful knees and ankles and felt like about 70! It lasted for over a year but then I realised when Dd was about 15 months that it had gone away. Luckily it didn't come back when I had DS.

It's probably carpal tunnel syndrome. Get a Physio apt - they can really help.

Steroid injections as a last resort.

Mine are a nightmare and painkillers don't seem to help.

My ankles are fecked too.

On a positive note, I've discovered my terrible foot clumsiness is due to hyper mobile ankles and not being a pockle

I had to get physio for this after DD was born, but it did improve quite swiftly once I did. I'd push for a physio referral.
