Oh lolli I'm sorry to hear that :(

Was no room to link to new thread in previous one - someone filled it up ;)

In other news, is not mastitis. Has spread to other boob and is most definitely thrush. Have bright pink nips with flaky scabby bits.

I am such a catch.

Thanks all, they have run tests and had an ECG done, he is staying in hosp tonight which I'm sure he is delighted about!
Won't know much else until mum gets home and calls
I'm really close by luckily so will go and see him when DP gets home

Is that good or bad news about the thrush I'm not sure which is more painful Hmm hope it gets better soon

lolli hope they don't keep your dad in too long. bunty ouch on the thrush! Hope it clears up quickly.

Glad you had a better night glorious - I am planning to try and get DS to start napping in his cot this weekend, hopefully he will start sleeping a bit longer that way. They don't make it easy for us, do they?

Cake icing tonight. Need to find a picture of a ladybird...

Lolli hope your dad is OK. Bunty, ouch on the thrush!

First day at work today. Am knackered and lots of changes since I left to get used to (a reorganisation and a new it system). Also I have got so used to moving around all day that I found sitting at a desk really uncomfortable.

On the plus side, dd seems to really enjoy nursery now.

Hi all,

Hope your dad is home soon and on the mend lolli

My LO had his MMR today, he was so brave and hardly cried. So far so good and no side effects so hoping he isn't affected with these ones. Has anyone else's LO's had yellow stuff in the corner of their eyes? I don't think it is conjunctivitis as it's only a tiny bit but he's never had it before and I'm not sure if I should be giving him something for it? It isn't dry and crusty or sticking his eyelids shut but it's def there if that makes sense?

He has another cold (joys of nursery) so not sure if it's all linked?

X

Oh no - hope you're Dad's ok lolli Shock We got Molly's first shoes at the weekend too. Screamed the place down and haven't dared put them back on her feet yet

Hurrah for tits and hurrah for slightly better sleep glorious but boooo for thrush Bunty you poor thing Brew and Cake

mrsbug I know exactly hat you mean about not being used to sitting at a desk. I have been back a fortnight and ache all over Hmm plus I had two visual migraines in two days. Can't be good all that extra screen time Sad.

newbie Molly's had that. They give a cream with antibiotics if it sticks around too long. The doc said that they put their hands in their face and gunk from their nose gets in their eyes and infects them might go away on its own though.

Molly's having a blast at nursery. They made waffles for her birthday and I left my camera so we have some snaps of her whisking eggs and covered in flour Grin

Pleased to hear about a better night glorious. Rubbish about the thrush though bunty, I hope it pisses off soon, horrid thing.

Those photos sound adorable angie!

My first day back at work consisted of watching daytime telly and playing cards. I love my job! Seriously though, if felt good to be back and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things.

Newbie dd had that when she was tiny, I was advised to squirt breastmilk into her eyes, and it worked. Might be worth a try if you're still bfing?

Found you! Thanks for the new thread bunty. Hope your boobs are getting better. Thrush is horrid.

glorious a Forest Hill meet up sounds perfect! :) I'll PM you.

Mrsbug and angie totally know what you mean about sitting behind a desk all day, it's so unnatural. The first few days for me were horrible - headaches, really sore eyes and just felt unhealthy. Got used to it now though :(

DD has had high temp all night and really out of sorts. She's gone back to bed now. I'm 'working from home' as just couldn't leave her all day again.

Lolli sorry to hear about your dad, get well soon LolliDad

Creepy what's your job?!

lollipoppi · 22/01/2014 08:44

Thank you for all the well wishes, he has not had a heart attack phew but something dodgy is going on with his heart, it's beating irregular and his blood pressure is high

Creepy I want your job! Grin What do you do?

DDs bday tomorrow, I'm actually a little upset that she is going to be 1! Has anybody else felt like this or just me being an emotional wreck

Its Cupcakes Callum's birthday today. Cake

Daniel cried through all three of his jabs on monday morning. He's had a fluctuating temperature and has been clingy on and off ever since Hmm. I think we're all coming down with colds anyway so maybe its more to do with that.

Sorry to hear about your dad, lolli hope he feels better soon.

Been a bit of an odd week. My neighbour died on sunday of a burst ovarian cyst and septicaemia complications and we've been trying to sort out stuff for her girls. They are 14 and 16 and in a very bad state right now. Their dad came to stay at the house and took them away with him yesterday so I am off the hook for the moment. She was only 40.

Happy birthday Callum!

How sad for your neighbours pascha, poor girls :(

Good news about your dad lolli, I hope he gets sorted soon. I got emotional over Nancy's birthday too. It feels odd thinking I have a 1 year old!

My job isn't always like that, they're easing me back in gently. I'm a mental health support worker, so usually out in the community.

That's so sad pascha, poor girls, they're still so young :(

Happy birthday to mini cupcakes. bunty hope boobs are on the mend. Im having trouble bf as I get chomped every time now, I don't know why, but once the jabs are out of the way im going to stop.

We have the MMR and the others (there are 3 aren't there?) this afternoon. I'm dreading it, you never get used to them do you?

Can anyone advise me on what interlocking foam playmat to get - you know, the ones with the letters or just different colours? Ive read reviews saying they contain chemicals but I really need something as we're getting rid of the carpet next week.
