L thinks the Christmas tree is 'hot' like the aga and therefore hasn't touched it so far!

Excellent thread title. I am naively hoping that O will just leave the Christmas tree alone...Hmm

Our tree has lasted a whole 24hrs without being touched by baby or puppy. Long may this continue!

This time last year I was getting a bit shouty....

Pass DH has been instructed to bring back a toy penguin - my favourite soft toy as a kid was a penguin stitched by my Mum. I loved the imaginatively named Pengy so much I carried him everywhere by his beak, which eventually became unstitched and fell off, ditto his feet, so eventually my favourite toy was essentially a black fluffy rugby ball Grin

O has a penguin knitted by my stepmum. He looks like an evil penguin out of Wallace & Gromit.

Dp has decided to go private with his physio. And bought himself a book. But apparently we couldn't afford to buy me a birthday present. Ffs.

I think I'll go on Thank You strike. Nobody's fucking grateful to me, why should i do it for them?

pp I feel so ragey for you. Why are these things not discussed? A book? Is that helpful to him? Really? I feel foot stampy but frustrated for you

Oooiooooooo. Right. Seriously. Croche peeps. Is it hard? Well, hard for a two left thumbed person? I was half inclined to starting something. I love wee brooches and such like and I figure others will if I make them. As gifts

Not got a tree up yet but walking to the shops after picking up DD1 it seemed that everybody else did! I usually get a huge real tree, this year I'm going to put up my fake 4 footer I bought when DD1 was at the crawling/pull everything down stage. Booo. I do love a real tree but just can't be doing with constantly getting E to not eat the pine needles which is what will happen!

pr The most manic time in my house is the post nursery pre bed time. I try and get DD1 to sit calmly but I fail miserably and the house desends into chaos. She's just so bloody hyper all the time but particuarly after nursery. It's my least favourite time of the day. I dread to think what it will be like once they're both at school!
