You must be. I'll keep checking on here each time I'm up in the night in case you need some company. I wish I had something decent to say but everything sounds trite. Know that we're all thinking of you and will offer support in any way we can. Xxx

I slept for a couple if hours I think. Just spoke to my sister who is at gatwick. She is flying out to be with our dad. I wish I could have font with her but it wasn't doable.

FoD I'm really sorry.

The m42 was fine, as was the a road the sat nav brought me home on last night. .. DH said A was getting more and more worked up looking for me, and had just cried himself to sleep when I got in at 10.45.

Just got to brave the motorway twice more. ...

V nice spotty, although sorry for stressed dp. Found out during 1am feed that some cheeky eejit has hacked my phone account! Thankfully Vodafone are very easy to get hold of at that time of night; hurrah for Indian call centres!

Poor A beasty. I left O with DM for 4 hours while I went to survey a client's house, almost put out that he didn't seem at all fussed when I got back!

Good Morning all.
Fod I hope you managed some rest. Still sending you all our best wishes and lots of strength!

beasty awww poor baby, it's horrible isn't it we worry so much about everything when they won't remember this bit at all! Probably a good thing that we can't remember being in nappies :)

utopian I've left DS with my mum a couple of times and he doesn't seem at all bothered that I'm not there. I'm not sure if he wants me or just the boobies!

My mum has helped put DS down for a morning nap.... It worked fine! It took at most 30 minutes and when I said "that was fast" she said it wasn't. I told her that if I try I fight him for an hour and give in and feed him to sleep or I simply feed him to sleep.... I think DP and mum will be putting DS down for naps until Monday! Maybe he will have learnt by then that he can fall asleep without boob??? Perhaps I should also stick on a big thick jumper before I try Confused

FoD your in my thoughts and prayers today.

Beasty awww i think that its cute that A misses you H doesn't seem abit bothered when i get home from work.

Nutella, good luck with sorting DS's naps

Bop yay to Olivers new teethGrin.

We're off to wigan today to buy DP something for H's Christening. We were meant to go early but H refused to sleep till 1:30am and then was up alot screaming it sounded like she was in pain, then she'd get comfy and fall asleep again. She only actually woke up for the day at 11:50. So now we're in a rush.

I haven't fed DS since this morning.... Holding out for the bedtime feed..... My boobies are definitely starting to feel a bit full....

How come Nutella?

Report
itsMYNutella · 26/09/2013 18:39

Spotty I'm trying to get him used to naps without boobie; it has meant he isn't really coming to me for a feed. I've offered him water from his bottle as usual when out and a sippy cup of water with his meals.

I'd really like it if he fed morning and evening. Do you think he needs more? I'm expecting him to carry on wanting two night feeds though. It would be nice if he would sleep all night Smile but it'll happen sometime!

O seems to be starting to phase out day feeds and cut down nights too. I need to stop offering and wait for him to 'ask' really, but it's an easy sleep cue..

Bad side effects is I seem to have a blocked duct. Rubbish. Might see if I can have a hot bath tonight.

How are you fod? Still thinking of you.

Oh no utopian you have my sympathies if you need any advice in your girl Wink

Nutella they say at this age they should be having 4/5 bf per 24 hours so I think what you're doing is fine Smile if when Wink he starts sleeping through I would probably offer feeds in the day again if he's still under a year. I'm going to stop offering all day feeds once ds hits a year and I will get rid of the bottle he has at night too. I will give him cows milk in a supply cup. I wonder if it's possible to just do one feed a day as I like the first morning one....

Report
itsMYNutella · 26/09/2013 19:24

spotty that's interesting about them still having 4/5 feeds a day, where is that? We have a packet of powder (for emergency use if I'm not here and DS won't settle) and on the side of the box it says 1/2 bottles from 6 months on which I though was odd. DS has eaten really well today and is starting to take more water so I'm hoping I can take advantage of that and drop some feeds. He will be 9 months next week.

utopian O is only a few days older than DS (1/1) how many times a day does he feed? He honestly hasn't come to me for a feed all day today (I haven't been putting him down for naps today).
