6months and 1 week. Wow.

StuntNun Fri 19-Apr-13 12:17:06

That was fun. Nice one Detective.

TheDetective Fri 19-Apr-13 12:17:36

Yehaaaaah mofos!

TheDetective Fri 19-Apr-13 12:18:00

Continue as you were...!

You fuckers stealing the end of the thread and making me lose my lovely buttery post...

Six months today here.

So, anyone's babies walking yet or are they all still studying quantum physics and molecular science in their activity time?

BigPigLittlePig Fri 19-Apr-13 12:18:50

<pants onto thread>

Fucksticks. I got a sweat on and everything for that angry

(that was a joke btw, far too early to walk, but never too early to learn Latin verbs)

TheDetective Fri 19-Apr-13 12:19:50

My baby is sleeping 24 hours a day. He loves sleep.

TheDetective Fri 19-Apr-13 12:20:04

I fucking wish he did!

BigPigLittlePig Fri 19-Apr-13 12:20:22

Detective omelette sounds rank. Only a man....(sorry luis)

PR did I not mention that F has designed a new moon-landing vehicle, and will be remotely captaining a space vessel, whilst crocheting an entire house and solving world poverty? Must have slipped my mind.

TheDetective Fri 19-Apr-13 12:20:57

OMG. I just looked down. O has made it from the play mat at one side of the living room, to down by my feet, and is currently using the xbox controller to mess with the DVD that is on!

Not even fucking kidding. Oh god.

BigPigLittlePig Fri 19-Apr-13 12:24:05

detective that's what happens when you leave these child geniuses for a minute to muck about on MN

I'm reliably informed by DH that F is asleep in her car seat and has been for over an hour. WHY WON'T SHE SLEEP FOR ME!?!?

TheDetective Fri 19-Apr-13 12:25:27

Because daddies are cunts. Fact.

Passmethecrisps Fri 19-Apr-13 12:28:34

Alright?

1.5 hours of bouncing in the Jumperoo followed by an hour of baby sensory has finished off wee P. she is sparko. So I am eating hula hoops.

MadamGazelleIsMyMum Fri 19-Apr-13 12:32:09

DD and DS both at nursery. <wins>

gazelle you do win.

Can everyone stop eating hulahoops? You're making me envy

Lily311 Fri 19-Apr-13 12:38:54

Can I swear pls???

Fuck you Apple Store. Went to exchange my Ipad, got a brand new shiny one. But it doesn't work. It doubles up the letters so I couldn't even connect to the internet, also the touchscreen doesn't respont to my touch. So after O is awake, we need to go back. Thanks fuck I live 20 min walk away from Central London. I can't believe I got a faulty one.

Food porn. I love chocolate ricecakes. Those are my new favourites.

YellowWellies Fri 19-Apr-13 12:39:46

Is there a six month sleep regression? DS seems to be so refluxy - he wanted fed none stop from 4am. I'm wondering if I need to go slower on the weaning. Despite him hoovering up 4 ice cubes worth yesterday am going to just BF today to see if that helps the poor chap.

M's favourite thing to do today is to pull her legs up and then do a big fart. Mucky little pup grin
She keeps giving me shifty sideways glances too.

Any idea how I can get rock hard abs in two weeks? Whilst eating biscuits and cakes if possible

ChasingDaisy Fri 19-Apr-13 12:44:17

pig the rule in my house is that one packet of hula hoops is never enough. I currently have Worcester sauce flavour French Fries in the cupboard. Yumtastic.

Detective O2 is a scratchy fucked. Doesn't matter how long his nails are.

Had jabs today. He sobbed his heart out. I cried. Got him in the pram to go home and he smiled the whole way home. He is now crashed out on me.

TheDetective Fri 19-Apr-13 13:00:35

I snorted at that Fatima. I suppose you could exercise? While eating biscuits and cakes?!?!

Lily Does it not just need an update or something?

Do ipads need connecting to itunes? Have no idea as don't have one fucking want one though grrrr!. Sometimes my iphone does stupid shit like that. I turn it off. It comes back on normal?

O is currently rolling around the living room butt naked and having a right old giggle. I hoovered. So there is now no dog hair. I hope. I've got to change his baby grow though as I'm not putting a hair ball in the swaddle.

I've made his bottle and got his stuff ready for his nap. He looked tired. Since removal of nappy and clothes he's up for a party. Damn it!

TheDetective Fri 19-Apr-13 13:04:31

You big old softy chasing!!

There is a little girl at the baby groups I go to - she must be around 10 months. She is the funniest little thing! Feel sorry for her mum! All the other babies play with the toys, and stay in the circle of mums. Her baby? No. She goes for absolutely everything that is not a toy. She goes for the phone connected to the speaker, the doors, the tables, the chairs, our shoes, jewellery.... There isn't much else in the room, but if there is, she's at it! She just doesn't sit still!

Her mum is running around after her constantly, while everyone else is sat down with their babies!

I have a strong feeling O might be just like this little girl soon enough....!!!
