Keeping in theme of last thread, has anyone come out the other side if sleep regression yet? We'v gone from 10+ hrs a night to lucky if we get 4! N with pregnancy exhaustion fast setting in, I need all the sleep I can get!!! Sad

Report
PetiteRaleuse · 04/03/2013 09:43

Yes Panda last night's waking was an exception and DH's fault for not doing the dream feed

Sleep regression lasted a few days a couple of weeks ago.

Can anyone tell me how to work the Bumbo play tray? There doesn't seem to be any easy way to attach it without lifting up the whole Bumbo while J is in it. I tried leaving it loosely attached but J just ripped the whole tray off!

I'd love more but hubby says no. Plus there really is no room. But still, another 2 would be lovely.

Haven't attempted the bumbo tray yet, just use it without for now, N won't stay in it long enough to bother anyways, sitting is old news, she wants to stand all the time and now even moves her feet to walk. Gna b chasing her around before I know it lol.

Damn I thought I had a chance for last post too. Even sitting in a hospital with bugger all else to do I'm not quick enough!

Not going to be a bfp from me this year I can assure you of that!

bp I would have loved to see that Grin

The therapist can't see us till tomorrow afternoon so looks like we will be here till at least Wednesday am. I am fine with that, but really want to be released on Wednesday.

stunt there is no easy way. You are doing it correctly. Very difficult to put it on when the LO's are in it.

Dammit, lost a huge post because i didn't realise the fred was finished!! Will try and remember...

Horsey no apology needed, it was a bit of an arsey thing to say. I'm getting heartily sick of rl people getting defensive because they're not bfing any more, through sheer laziness. I think they feel guilty but that's no excuse to make snidey remarks to me. R sleeps no different on formula, plus i can't afford it anyway - it's eat what your given or starve round here.

Eliza hurrah, fab news :o she'll be nicely chubby in no time!!

R is 15 weeks today and nowhere near sitting in a highchair. No way am i giving him food until it's clear he won't fall over!!

No bfp's for me - I am done poas!!! Shop is shut!!!

Last night we finally got around to talking about our little problem in the bedroom!!! Divvy cow I am - he was just taking his sweet time cos it doesn't happen that often and was savouring it - where I was racing to the end to get to sleep lol - I've promised him more if we can be quicker lol and last night be both won gold lol hurray I've not got a dart ford tunnel!!!!!

Bed routine has been the same since d was born, we come up to watch tv in bed around 8pm sometimes she has a bath with one of us sometimes it's just getting her changed and into swaddle, she has bottle about 9pm then bum change, chatter and then bf to sleep about 10pm with the past 5 nights hers going down on first transfer wooooo!!

sweetpea we're going to be having dots in with us for a long time as we are in a 3 bed house, big bedroom has my son and 2 stepsons every other weekend while the teeny box room houses dd1 and her thousands of soft toys. Dottie will be going in with her eventually when I can get dd1 to part with at least half her toys but will probably be when she's 6-8 mths. Is your room big enough to put a screen up? I know many parents who have had trouble getting LO in own room when they are older so maybe if you could divide room up a bit? Just a thought!!

izzy if you are not happy with your HV please speak to someone at the centre she is attached to - she should not be advising early weaning without medical reasons or that he should be going through the night!!! Our babies did not come off the production line and each and everyone is individual with individual appetites, sleep patterns etc.... They are there to advise and offer helpful advice if you want baby to sleep through etc.... I've got a friend with a 12 mth old who still wakes 3 times during the night for a bf - I couldn't personally do it but she's happy to so who is anyone to say that's wrong!!! You do what you do to suit you, baby and family!!!!

eliza yay way to go baby E - good news they're doing a long term plan too and not just a quick fix!!! Fingers x'd home once you've munched the chocolate!!!

Eeeekkkk had a little splurge in tescos for some new clothes for uni - less than £100 and got a pair of black trousers which I didn't think would fit me in a million years but they do so gonna go back for 2 more pairs for work a dress, a top, a jumper and 2 cardigans!!! I've also ordered 2 pairs of wedges from next!!!

Off to pick dd1 up soon then taking her to uni to do my crb check and registration!!!

Was all emotional yesterday, a good friend from work who has being trying for a baby for years and had 2 ectopics and a miscarriage the same time as I did gave birth to a precious little girl - Olive. They really didn't think they would ever be parents and had 3 courses of ivf but this one came out of the blue so I'm soooooo pleased for her!!! Dottie's got a little playmate!!!

I've had a headache now for over a week and nothing I take shifts it - it's getting me down!!!!
