What to do with 13 week old

Although lo has settled into a pretty good routine after horrendous colic, the only time we seem to get out is taking long walks in the pram. The last time I took him to the local town he screamed bloody murder everytime the pram stopped! Does anyone else have this problem? I feel like I'm just stuck in the house feeding him and persuading him to sleep. What is everyone else doing with their 3 to 4 month olds?

Ds went through a phase of this (crying every time the pram stopped!). It didn't last for long though - only about a month iirc, then he became more interested in looking around him to see what was going on.

I'm lucky in that a neighbour of mine had a ds 10 days after me. We hadn't met before having our dses but now we get together about once a week or so. I also go out on walks with another neighbour, whose kids are much older, but she wants to get fit!

Do you take him to the hv to get weighed each week? You might meet other mums and start chatting there. I made one of my best friends that way (when I had dd1). You might have to take a deep breath and say "do you fancy meeting up for a coffee sometime?" - it can be hard to start with.

Your hv might have details of local baby and toddler groups too that you could go along to. My local one is very friendly.
