Marvellous Auld! I was off searching for a perfect quote for the title when you stole the thread. Nice work! This one is perfect. And yes. Lots of papers. Short time frame. Maybe a leeetle optimistic. But very impressive.

operation kill is a go here...
Dh has not paid the deposit for the apartment. I am so close to having a break down.

WildRumpus · 28/01/2011 17:31

Uh-oh! Send over the entire Le Crueset collection quickly. You ok bebe?

Report
bebemoohatessnot · 28/01/2011 18:00

I just cannot believe how useless he's being today considering how ill I am. He's doing the 'it'll be ok, just let me handle it, you're worrying too much...' but then he keeps putting the important things off instead of doing them right away. I'm having to nag. Which I HATE.
At this rate we'll be lucky to leave by 9... and then we have to drive all the way to folkstone...

God, bebe, poor choice of thread title. Hope it rings truer by the end of the thread... Good luck with the trip.

Back from doctor's. A has ear infection. As well as hacking cough. Have just forced meds down him.

Ah here we are. DH did laugh at the dubious honour.

Sorry it's your husband this time Bebe. I hope you are on your way.

And poor A, I hope he is better soon.

Rumpus - I am free half-term.

Oh, crossed posts. Are you ok?

Hello all :)

Just come to look because I saw Bebe's FB. What's going on? How are men so useless? Are you okay? Want me to come & get violent?

Report
WildRumpus · 28/01/2011 20:41

We could all come and get violent. Although my saucepans are German and although finely engineered, not as heavy as Puzzle's. What is the correct term
for a group of violent Fanjo Warriors wielding European kitchenware? A swarm? A hoard? A fury?

Seriously though - hope you have set off by now and money safely transferred and stresses reduced.

If I'd known, I'd have stocked up in Ikea yesterday. Instead I just bought things that I don't even know what I bought them for.

Report
WildRumpus · 28/01/2011 20:49

Not one of them a potential murder weapon? Tsk.

Report
RespectTheDoughnut · 28/01/2011 20:56

Not without being particularly inventive. I feel that I have failed my fellow FW.

How are you, WR? :)

Report
WildRumpus · 28/01/2011 21:20

Pretty well, thanks. Not planning any
murders.... Just putting off doing some ironing at the moment. Ironing on a Friday night really ought to be banned.

How are you?

WildRumpus · 28/01/2011 21:22

Dwelling slightly on Puzzle's abbreviation of my name to Rumpus. It makes my arse look big, doesn't it?

Report
WildRumpus · 28/01/2011 21:23

Maybe I'll murder Puzzle. I know where she lives. But she's got bigger saucepans than me. And she knows kick boxing. Perhaps not.

WildRumpus · 28/01/2011 21:31

Anyway must be off. The tedious chores won't do themselves. And the longer I faff the later my bedtime. So tired my eyes are watering after the beasties (aka DD & DS) executed a masterful double-pronged sabotage of my sleep. Beasties!

This is probably why I'm wobbling away nonsensically.

Hope Bebe is many miles closer to Folkestone than she was when she last checked in.

Laters x

I was wondering how to address you - 'Wild' sounded a bit kinky, 'Rumpus' sounded a bit rude Grin

I'm okay too. I'm putting off doing anything constructive at all. My flat looks like something exploded, but George isn't here this weekend at least. That gives me time. To sleep Blush

My sister's just been stood up by a friend, after clearing her Friday night for him. She's trying to talk my mum into letting her get a train to visit now. If my mum says no, it will kick off. Luckily there are no particularly heavy pans there.

& yes, I wouldn't want to take on Puzzle. She looks like she could fight dirty.

Ooh, close cross post there! It doesn't seem that Bebe is closer to anywhere yet :(

Hello, hello - Puzz where is the list?! I was trying to catch up on babies on the last thread but had to give up. My (late) new years resolution is to spend more time on MN Grin.

How is everyone? I'm allowing myself to get a bit excited now as the house is almost finished just waiting for the plasterer to come then we can start the painting part. After living out of boxes and in a couple of rooms for a fair few months I am in dire need of my own bed.

Oh Schultes, I'll give you a buzz in the week, can you come in to the office and meet Dom? Let me know what days you are free. We might have some stuff on for the next few months on V.

Oh exciting (and stressful times bebe). RtD, I remember driving to Ikea after I had just passed my test and filling it up with all kinds of rubbish! Auld, poor A, K had that for the past 2 weeks and has been a walking hacking bag of snot and goo!

All very crazy here, K is growing very very fast, and has lost all his desire for cuddles and kisses Sad he's a 'proper' boy and doesn't do that stuff and just decides to climb on sofas, chairs, tables and jump off of them. He is OBSESSED with diggers, tractors and dogs. I WANT A CUDDLY BABY!!!

We are off to visit DH's mum next week and am stressing at the flights as they no longer fly direct so rather than 3 hours, we are looking at 11 hours. On and off of planes. With a child that is incapable of staying still. hurrumph

Ooh I am up for a fanjo fight, have lots of pent up rage that could do wonders. I am currently targeting it all at FEDEX and BT who have the worst customer service people ever (along with sky)...

Right, I better go and rescue DH.

I can't post much because I'm a bit tipsy Grin but BB, what's the problem with BT? I had a thread on here not that long ago about them & someone gave me the email address for the CEO. Miraculously, the problem was solved the next day.

The email address is [email protected] & the eloquently titled thread is here if you want to read other people hating BT as much as you Grin

Also, I still have a cuddle boy, so nerr Wink

Well can I borrow G and you can have K for a couple of days? He is currently sat in his PJs on the floor playing with his tractor, watching pippin and eating a chocolate bourbon. I said, 'do you want to come up here and watch with mummy' earlier he said 'hmmm no'!!!. He will only cuddle you in the morning when you bring him downstairs and before bed, that is it and even then it's until he decides he's had enough (approximately one minute!)

BT - Ah all sorts of things to do with moving house, them saying I could transfer the line to the tenants then not allowing me to, then charging me cancellation fees - stupid, stupid people. Putting in a complaint, told I would be contacted within two weeks, surprise, surprise never was then get demand for payment bills which I am point blank refusing to pay. Thanks for the email address, I will email him.

We are off to the beach today with K so best go and get my wellies on - it might be the middle of winter but that child still wants to play in the sea!

Thanks springs
