It's appalling. And, as ever, the coverage of anything non-Western is pitiful. The school shooting in Connecticut in Dec got wall-to-wall coverage for days on end - I hadn't even heard of this until you posted sad

Does everyone know the roots of this conflict, which is eventually going to result in Nigeria being split into two?

Answer: decades of Saudi money building mosques, and installing Wahhabi preachers. A policy the Saudis follow round the globe, including Britain and the USA.
