Season of Camouflage

The Yurt moves its direction and begins to dance its riot of autumnal colour. All these colours bring me vision from within the tree , its changes and I intent this out into the world.

I send a message to my friends of the Yurt, a message that are fleeting like sunlight in a bottle. But when swallowed and stored, lift the spirit and strengthen us for the rain and cold that are soon to come.

How are you today GM?

Papillon fab picture and I am glad that we are going into a riot of colour rather than sombre winter!

Today is such a beautiful day and the late summmer breeze is chasing the clouds across the sky as a few leaves start to drift lazily off the trees. In the nuttery we have taken our fill and the animals are now stocking up! Happy birthday my friend if I cannot reach oyu over the weekend. Feast away and enjoy.

Good to see you hear FMF

After a night of revellery in celebration of my eternal 29th birthday, I relax in the Yurt in my cashmere rug gratefully receiving gentle foot and scalp massages. Around me lie others and we muse in drowsy banter upon the nights happenings.

Across the plains of Bong I ride with the wind in my hair. My steed barely touches the ground as we leave the colourful forest behind and travel towards high ground.

There I shall watch the hawks who today circle their messages in the sky and the Princess of Swords will come sit by my side in muse, championing her lofty ideals.

was just passing after a rather long time away...belated happy birthday Paps!
i had a wierd reaction to the thread title & find yearnings for the wintry time when everything is stripped bare to reveal absolute truths and the reality of the heart of things. Whilst I wait for this time I have come to lay in the soft leaves starting to gather on the ground and melt into their colour and warmth. (I may hide here for some time )

Gm I am come to join you in the library. I have been away and working hard but am now returning for your cheer and warmth.

Life is coming round to a more steady phase for me at the moment and I am feeling more grounded and at peace. Even though the storm clouds gather I feel I can at last remain this way and live a little.

The fullness of nature and the fruitfulness which surrounds me here brings harmony as the seasons change and I love the idea of the winter being a time of being stripped bare. It sounds almost like replenishing and not dead.

Hey Iris - lovely to see you

The season of camouflage is for autumn - all the colours changing from mostly green into a kaliescope of colours - revealing in its own way as well as hiding much.

Winter can strip us bare later!

Tell me more about what you about the Princess of Swords? Do you or have you used Tarot much?

And how is that wee bairn of your ??

Stephanie nice to see you back from your travels in the lands of Bong shall we all take tea with Gothic int he Library Hope the job is going well gothic, we will hold a workers feast in your honour at the weeks end!

Hi Paps - not been around as trying to deal with dad's passing and been having chronic sleep depravation for ages courtesy of my darling LO. (DH put him down last night for the first time - much screaming & crying (and that jas just me )- but I got 7 hours in the end & feel like a new woman today & LO is more gorgeous than ever )

I love the autumn (especially the colours - grounding our energies along with the leaves). It was the camouflage bit that moved me Paps - I struggle to deal with untruths and illusion/delusion - my lie detector becomes keener with age and the silliest things seem to upset me (despite knowing that absolute honesty and truth in this world is unattainable). Yes, I do tarot & feel the energies of the Queen of Swords heading my way. Her intelligence, clarity and reasoning suit you.

I will dive into the clear, now chilly, pools in the mountains to cleanse my body and mind of the emotional clutter that has clouded me lately. The autumn nymphs that dwell there are playing soulful tunes on their pipes - the musical vibrations flow through the water too, imbuing it with restful, cleansing qualities. Later I will rest under the mighty oak with a cashmere blanket flecked with gold and copper and decorated with citrines, rubies and garnets. I have brought hot fruit punch, sweet potato cakes and plum tart for all to share.

(((Iris))) for you Dad

I actually saw your name on the post natal thread this morning and saw quickly that oyu have been having lack of sleep. Me too!! But ds woke first time at 5am and then went to sleep again after a feed so I feel quite good today for a change!!

I totally know where you are coming from with untruths and deceptions - has always upset me too, being an open and pretty honest person. I have had to learn to hide myself alot to come to terms with such layering in society. I like the Yurt because even though its imaginary we are all very REAL in our way of being here

The swim sounds beautiful and just what I felt like doing on my birthday - so I will join you as my crumpets are digested and gothic is off studying

YUmmy food Iris! The chilly pool sounds good but am feeling in need of those last rays of sun so out on the yurts magical sun deck and lying in bliss.

The children are playing in a stream nearby and my horse is grazing contentedly flicking flies off with her tail. In the pasture land the cows are finishing the long summer grass off and later there will be milk and cream and butter from them. I may even make cheese and rest it on the slate shelves of the yurt for winter to get blue veined and ripe.

I am making currant tea cakes on the yurt stove for the morning and have new raspberry jam to have with them and butter from the cows.
