Help me with religious story for dd's homework?

I'm not religious but I'm supposed to tell dd (5) a religious story that she can retell to the teacher or draw a picture of. As part of this they have already been doing about 'some blue guys' apparently Smile I tried the Good Samaritan but it was a bit beyond her and she found it a bit scary. My mind is a blank as to any others apart from the nativity. Any ideas?

just open a bible, find the new testament, half way through ish, find the books Matthew, mark, Luke and john and read through some parables. there are plenty.

Oh yes, what is again though? They all went to see him but didn't have any food so he multiplied the food? Is there a moral to it or is it just about him doing miracles?

We did have a bible but I can't find it. It is around somewhere though, I'll have a proper look. Oh yes Noah's Ark of course!

Yes, I was hoping for a bit of a nice moral parable!

Daniel in the lion's den, Jesus walking on the water, Joshua and the walls of Jericho, John the Baptist baptises Jesus in the river Jordan, Baby Moses in the bulrushes (rescued by Pharoah's sister), Jonah and the whale, Jesus heals the leper or Jesus heals the paralysed man.

I am sure you can find quick summaries on the internet, probably short videos on YouTube too. I'd try and search for "bible stories children" but offhand I can't think of a good site.
