My DD(6) wants to enter her Sunday School art competition. She has to do something in ? any 2d media? on the following verse:

?? but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. ? Isaiah 40:31

I have NO IDEA what she can do! She enjoys drawing and painting but this is all a bit conceptual for her (and me). TBH I would have thought something along the lines of ? Draw a picture of your favourite Bible story? would be more suitable for a 6yo. Anyway...

What coudl she draw or paint? Is a collage 2d? We have a ?point and shoot? digital camera, so any ideas for a photo??? She has already thought of taking photos of an eagle . Or what else coudl she do ?

Help!! I am not very artistic....

sounds like a tough one! Agree with the favourite bible story though...
How about thinking about a different aspect of the verse - i.e. not the eagle (would be v impressed if she could take a photo!) - like a picture of lots of children running (collage?) or something?
Not much help I'm afraid - also not very arty so not sure about the 2d but guess that must mean not a model.
Good luck

a collage lends itself to being a bit more 'conceptual' - maybe children with wings soaring?

Definitely scope for a gorgeous painted landscape with mounatins etc, with cutout people added afterwards.
